PN 187---Royal spelling competition [K.G. 1 to 12 ]

Respected Parents and students,

                               Royal Spelling Bee has come forward to conduct a spelling competition for the students from K.G. 1 to 12. This is an invaluable tool for language improvement.

The emphasis is on improving the student's communicative skills through vocabulary enrichment and their application. The healthy competitive spirit motivates them to learn on their own without any compulsion.

 

           This self-paced learning improves retention and results in a systematic understanding of the English language, Further, the competition builds self-confidence and helps the children to develop their full potential.

 

Interested students can hand over the registration amount-100 Dirhams along with the consent form to respective class teachers latest by May 15,2026.

PN 188- Young Student Reporters [Grades 4 to 12]

Respected Students and Parents,

                                We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Young ReportersWriting competition at Sunrise English Private School for grades 4 to 12. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise and passion for writing. The competition aims to promote students' creative thinking and journalistic skills.

Subject: Call for Entries:  Young  Reporters Writing

Competition Details:

Eligibility: All students from grades 4 to 12 at Sunrise English Private School are eligible to participate.

Guideline:

Participants are required to write a report on the given topic.

The report must be well structured with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. It should be written on an A4 size paper.

Submission of the report should be in hard copy and submitted to the respective English teacher on or before May 10,2026.

(Please refrain from taking reports from Google.)

Topics:

Grade 4 to 5 – A report on the Fancy Dress competition held on Christmas Day.

Grade 6 to 8 -  A report on talent shows on Children’s Day.

Grade 9 to 12-  A report on Inter School Sports Activities.

Selection Process: The  English teacher of respective grades will evaluate all submissions based on creativity, structure, relevance to the topic, and overall writing skills. The students will be chosen as “Young Students Reporters” for this Academic Year and will receive a certificate of appreciation.

PN 184---Participation in “Be a Changemaker” Global Initiative [Grades 3-9 and 11]

Respected Parents and Students,

We are pleased to inform you about an exciting opportunity to be part of the “Be a Changemaker” global initiative. This program aims to empower students to take simple, meaningful, and measurable actions to protect and support our planet.

As part of this initiative, students are encouraged to actively participate by performing positive sustainability actions such as:

• Planting trees
• Reducing plastic usage
• Conserving water and energy
• Organizing clean-up drives
• Any other eco-friendly activities

Participation Guidelines:

1. Students must register on the official platform.
2. Select your school during registration.
3. Perform sustainability actions individually or in groups.
4. Upload proof of your actions (photos/reports) on the platform.

Upon successful submission and verification, students will receive a digital certificate titled “I Am a Changemaker.” Students can also earn recognition levels:

• Bronze (3 actions)
• Silver (5 actions)
• Gold (10 actions)
• Platinum (20 actions)

This initiative not only helps the environment but also builds leadership, responsibility, and global awareness among students.

1) Friday,July 3,2026 will be the last working day for KG and 

Grades 1-12 students before the Summer vacation. 

2) KG and Grades 1-9 students will have Summer vacation from Saturday, 

July 4 till Sunday , August 30,2026

 

3) Grade 10 and 12 students will have summer vacation from July 4- August 19,2026. Grade 10 and 12 students will have ONLINE classes from August 20,2026. 

4) School reopens after the summer vacation for KG and Grades 

1-9 students on Monday , August 31,2026
