PN 222- ACER Field Trial Arabic exam [Grade 3-9]

Respected Students and Parents, 

                                                      The Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) has mandated that all students from Grade 3 to 9 participate in an external assessment. Sunrise English Private School has chosen ACER IBT as the required assessment as per the National Agenda Parameter for Abu Dhabi and UAE. 

 

1. The ACER Field Trial Arabic exam will be conducted online(as per the instructions by ADEK) and scheduled as per the attachment during the month of May 2023 during the school hours. 

 

2. The assessment will be for Arabic and will be conducted during school hours as per the attached schedule.

 

3. All students must participate  in the exam.

 

4. Students are requested to bring TAB or LAPTOP only for the exam which should be fully charged. Charger also should be brought along with the device.(TAB or LAPTOP devices will support the exam).

WIFI Connectivity will be provided by the school.

 

5. Please note the exam is for 1 hour duration . 

6. Students can carry notebooks and textbooks for the 3rd period onwards as per time table on the particular date of exam.

 

7. Students are  allowed to carry the device only on the allotted date  of their exam as specified in the attachment. Exams will be conducted strictly as per the attached schedule only.

PN 173--Monthly Assessment [Grade 1-9 and 11]

Respected Parents and Students,  Please note - 1) The monthly assessment for grades 1–9 and 11 for the academic year 2024–2025 will commence from May 13, 2024, as shared with parents during orientation. Students will be assessed between May 13- 20, 2024  2) The major subjects -  Arabic , English, Hindi, Mathematics and EVS.-Grade 1,2 and 3 Arabic , English, Hindi, Mathematics Science, and Social Science for Grade 4-9 and  Grade 11 students-Main 5 subjects.  3) The portions will be notified through Google Classroom. The monthly assessment will be out of ten marks, with competency and application-based questions that evaluate the students' understanding of that particular subject. 4)  If the student misses the formative and summative exams, his or her monthly assessment marks will be considered in that case.  5) Attendance for the monthly assessment is mandatory.
