PN 207– National Identity Projects Grade 6-12

Respected Parents and Students,    The Sunrise English Private School is thrilled to invite the students for an array of projects to express their love and admiration to this beloved nation-The United Arab Emirates. These project works aim to promote cultural awareness and appreciate the multi- cultural nature of this country. The main purpose is to respect diversity and embrace inclusivity in their interaction with the U A E community. This enables them to celebrate differences and prepare them to thrive in a globalized world.   The details of the projects and grades are detailed below-   Grades Project Name Project Details Grade -6 Chart Designing -The famous landmarks of the U A E. * Design a chart on the famous landmarks of the U A E with images and description about them.(A-3 Paper)   Grade-7 Scrap book making- The Progress of the  U A E from 1971 till the present day.    *Research about the history of the U A E and the country's progress till the present day and create a scrapbook. Grade 8 Brochure Creation-The future developments of the U A E   *Creating a brochure on the future developments of the UAE presenting a compelling overview of the exciting projects and initiatives that will shape the country's growth and transformation.   Grade 9 Arabic Calligraphy *Present Calligraphy Artwork including phrases, quotations, or short verses in Arabic. ( A-3 Paper) Grade 10 Collage Making- The cultural Diversity of the U A E. *Create collages showcasing various aspects of UA E's culture including traditional clothing, food, music, dance and celebrations (A-3 Paper) Grade 11 & 12 (Boys Section) Poster Designing- The Arabian Wildlife *Design and create informative posters highlighting the Arabian Oryx, the Arabian leopard and other wildlife seen here. Include their habitat and conservation efforts to protect them. (A-3 Paper)   Grade 11 &12 (Girls Section) Cookbook - The Emirati Cuisine *Research about the thetraditional Emirati recipes and create a cookbook featuring the easy-to-follow recipes along with information about the cultural significance of each dish.     Submission guidelines –  • Project work should be submitted to the respective class teacher. • It must be well designed, planned and presented. • Include your name, grade and section. • Last date for submission is May 13, 2024. The best projects will be selected for exhibition in the school. We seek the support and involvement of all the students to showcase their talents and thus nurture their creativity and confidence.Also expecting whole hearted support from the parents to foster a strong sense of identity and appreciation among our students for U A E's culture and heritage.
