PN 500- Important Update on Question Paper Pattern for Term 1 Examination 2025-2026 [(Grades 6 to 12)]

Respected Parents and Students,

This is to inform you that beginning with the upcoming Term 1 Examination 2026-2027 and in all subsequent assessments, the question papers across all subjects (Grades 1 to 12) will include a variety of question types in alignment with the latest CBSE guidelines. These will comprise:

• Competency-based questions (CBQs)

• Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTs) questions

• Application-based questions connecting learning to real-life situations

• Cross-curricular integration to assess holistic understanding

The objective is to move beyond rote learning and ensure that students are equipped with analytical, problem-solving, and application-oriented skills that are essential for their academic and personal growth.

We kindly request you to encourage your ward to prepare thoroughly, focusing not only on textbook knowledge but also on developing conceptual clarity, reasoning ability, and critical thinking. Our teachers are already orienting students towards this approach in the classroom.

PN 483--Extension of Online Classes and Resumption of On-Campus Classes – September 14,2026

Respected Parents and Students,

We would like to inform you that, Classes for all students from KG to Grade 12 will continue to be conducted online until Friday, 11 September 2026.

On-campus classes will resume from Monday, 14 September 2026, as per the regular school timetable.

The School needs to ensure that all necessary arrangements are fully completed following the strengthening work being carried out in the A Block. While the strengthening work is nearing completion, a number of essential activities and safety procedures need to be completed before students return to the campus. These include:

• Reinstallation and completion of essential fixtures and facilities
• Finalisation of classroom and learning-space arrangements
• Comprehensive safety and security checks
• Inspection and verification of the completed work
• Necessary installations, testing and operational checks
• Final clearances and approvals from the concerned authorities
• Completion of all arrangements required to safely welcome students back to campus

We deeply regret the  delay in resuming face-to-face classes and sincerely understand the inconvenience this may cause to our students and parents. However, the safety, security and wellbeing of our students and staff remain our highest priority.

We have therefore decided to resume on-campus classes only after all necessary arrangements, inspections and safety clearances are fully in place. We firmly believe that allowing a few additional days for these preparations is essential to ensure a safe, secure and comfortable learning environment for every student.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding and continued cooperation during this temporary arrangement. We assure you that every effort is being made to complete the remaining arrangements at the earliest and prepare the campus to welcome our students back safely.

We look forward to welcoming all our students back to school on Monday, 14 September 2026.

Respected Students and Parents,

We are pleased to inform you that the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2026 will take place from 13–18 September 2026 at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi.

Students are encouraged to participate in the competition “Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2026 in Schools and Homes” through creative activities related to the following themes:

Main Themes of the Competition

• Focus Personality: Al-Farahidi (Al-Khalil ibn Ahmad Al-Farahidi)
• Guest of Honour: Balkan Culture
• Book of the World: Don Quixote
• Theme: Year of the Family

Parents are requested to work together with their children at home to complete a simple, creative activity, such as:

• Reading and discussing a book together
• Creating a drawing or artwork
• Preparing a short research project
• Writing a poem or creative piece
• Preparing a short drama or presentation

Parents may take photos of the completed activity and share them with the school by 16 September 2026.

Participation is free of charge.
