PN 483--Extension of Online Classes and Resumption of On-Campus Classes – September 14,2026

Respected Parents and Students,

We would like to inform you that, Classes for all students from KG to Grade 12 will continue to be conducted online until Friday, 11 September 2026.

On-campus classes will resume from Monday, 14 September 2026, as per the regular school timetable.

The School needs to ensure that all necessary arrangements are fully completed following the strengthening work being carried out in the A Block. While the strengthening work is nearing completion, a number of essential activities and safety procedures need to be completed before students return to the campus. These include:

• Reinstallation and completion of essential fixtures and facilities
• Finalisation of classroom and learning-space arrangements
• Comprehensive safety and security checks
• Inspection and verification of the completed work
• Necessary installations, testing and operational checks
• Final clearances and approvals from the concerned authorities
• Completion of all arrangements required to safely welcome students back to campus

We deeply regret the  delay in resuming face-to-face classes and sincerely understand the inconvenience this may cause to our students and parents. However, the safety, security and wellbeing of our students and staff remain our highest priority.

We have therefore decided to resume on-campus classes only after all necessary arrangements, inspections and safety clearances are fully in place. We firmly believe that allowing a few additional days for these preparations is essential to ensure a safe, secure and comfortable learning environment for every student.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding and continued cooperation during this temporary arrangement. We assure you that every effort is being made to complete the remaining arrangements at the earliest and prepare the campus to welcome our students back safely.

We look forward to welcoming all our students back to school on Monday, 14 September 2026.

PN 480-Supporting Your Child’s Mental Health Guide [Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority]

Respected Parents,

                                       At Sunrise English Private School, we believe that supporting our children’s emotional and mental wellbeing is an essential part of their overall development. We are pleased to share with you the “Child’s Mental Health – A Parent’s Guide”, developed by the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA).

The guide provides practical and accessible information to help parents and caregivers better understand children’s mental health and wellbeing. It covers topics including recognising changes in a child’s behaviour, understanding common risk and protective factors, supporting children in expressing their feelings, and knowing when additional professional support may be required.
We encourage parents to take some time to go through this resource and use it as a reference when supporting your child’s emotional wellbeing at home. The guide also highlights the importance of creating a safe environment for conversations, asking open-ended questions, listening actively, and acknowledging children’s feelings and efforts.

We hope this resource will support you in building positive conversations with your child and strengthening their emotional resilience and wellbeing.

PN 482-Extension of Online Classes Until Tuesday, 8 September 2026

Respected Parents and Students,

We would like to inform you that, due to the ongoing strengthening work in the A Block, the school will continue to conduct classes in online mode until Tuesday, 8 September 2026 for all students from KG to Grade 12.

Accordingly:

• Online classes: Monday, 7 September and Tuesday, 8 September 2026 
• Classes will continue through the usual Zoom/Google Classroom platforms and will follow the regular timetable.
• On-campus classes will resume from Wednesday, 9 September 2026, as per the normal school schedule.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused by this extension and greatly appreciate your patience, understanding and continued cooperation. This temporary arrangement is being made to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff while the strengthening work is completed.

We look forward to welcoming all our students back to campus on Wednesday, 9 September 2026.

PN 475---School Transport Arrangements for September 2026 for Students

Respected Parents and Students,

                                                                          We would like to inform you that Victoria Roadways Passengers Transport LLC will be our new school transport service provider, effective from September 2026 onwards.

As part of this transition, there will be new bus drivers and bus escorts assigned to our school transport services. We kindly request all parents to extend their cooperation and support during this transition period to ensure the smooth and safe functioning of the school transportation system.

New Bus routes and timings may be assigned from September 2026 onwards so parents are requested to follow the new timings accordingly. We assure you that the school and the transport provider will work closely together to address any concerns and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

Should you experience any issues or have concerns regarding the transportation service in the future, please feel free to contact the school administration/transport department. We will make every effort to resolve any concerns promptly.

PN 474---Startup Pitch Competition {Grades 6 to 8

Respected Parents and Students,

We are pleased to announce that the FUTUREPRENEURS’ CLUB in coordination with NEC Junior, IIT - Bombay is conducting the Start-Up Pitch Competition, an exciting opportunity for students to explore the world of entrepreneurship, innovative ideas, and real-world problem-solving.

The competition will provide students with a platform to develop and showcase their creativity, communication, research, critical thinking, confidence, and public-speaking skills through a short and engaging start-up pitch.

Eligibility : Students of grade 6-8

Competition Date : 4th September 2026

Team Size : Teams may consist of up to 3 students.

Pitch Duration : Each team will be given 4–5 minutes to present their pitch.

Students may choose to present either:

· An existing start-up, explaining the problem it solves, its solution, unique features, and what inspired them about it; or

· An original start-up idea, explaining the problem, proposed solution, target beneficiaries, and usefulness of the idea.

The pitch should be simple, engaging, and confidently presented. Students should focus on clearly communicating their ideas rather than simply reading from their slides.

Registration : Interested Students can submit their team details with the Teacher incharge.

Registration Deadline: 2nd September 2026

Judging :

The pitches will be evaluated on:

· Clarity of communication

· Understanding of the idea/problem

· Creativity and innovation

· Confidence and delivery

A short interaction / Q&A with the judges may follow the pitch.

We encourage all students to participate enthusiastically and use this opportunity to think creatively, solve real-world problems, and experience the excitement of entrepreneurship.
