Greetings from Sunrise English Private School!Please find attached the communication received from the Ministry of Family regarding the Child Digital Safety – Social Media Regulation for children under 16 years of age.

The key points are:

• The minimum age for creating and using social media accounts is 15 years.
  
• Children aged 15 to under 16 may continue using their accounts with enhanced safety protections.
  
• The regulation covers platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok and X.
  
• Gaming platforms such as Roblox and Fortnite are excluded.
• Parents are encouraged to support children in developing healthy screen-time habits, responsible online behaviour and awareness of online safety.

PN 455---IEntO 2026 | IIT Bombay [GRADES 6-12]

Parents and Students,

We are pleased to invite our students to participate in the International Entrepreneurship Olympiad (IEntO) 2026, organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of IIT Bombay. IEntO is a national-level offline competition designed to foster entrepreneurial thinking, business acumen, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills among young minds.

Key Details & Overview:

• Organized By: E-Cell, IIT Bombay

• Eligibility: Open to students of Classes 6 to 12

• Category I: Classes 6–8

• Category II: Classes 9–12

• Exam Structure: 1-hour offline exam consisting of 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) covering Mental Ability, Entrepreneurship, General Knowledge, and High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS).

Examination Schedule & Stages:

1. Round 1 (School Level):

Exam Date: Conducted on campus on 25th September 2026 

2. Round 2 (Grand Finale):

Top-performing students will qualify for the final round held at IIT Bombay during the E-Summit in December 2026.

Prizes, Rewards & Student Incentives:

• Certificates: Participation certificates from E-Cell, IIT Bombay for all participating students.

• Cash Prizes & Rewards: Cash prizes for top rankers alongside vouchers, online learning courses, tools, and subscriptions worth ₹10 Lakhs+.

• Recognition: National rank recognition and potential media coverage for top achievers.

• E-Summit Passes: Complimentary passes for top performers to attend Asia’s largest student-run entrepreneurship summit at IIT Bombay.

Registration Details:

• Student Registration: Each student must register individually by themselves to participate in the Olympiad.

l Individual Registration Route: Individual registration is conducted via the official IEntO portal:
1. Create a student account with a valid email ID and phone number.
2. Select preferred exam city.
3. Choose an optional printed question booklet.
4. Complete secure online payment to confirm registration.

• Registration Deadline: 25th August 2026

The Scheme aims to attract and engage distinguished researchers and scientists of Indian origin working in leading universities, research laboratories, R&D organizations, and industry across the world for long-term research engagement in premier institutions in India.

The PMRC Scheme seeks to strengthen India's research and innovation ecosystem by facilitating high-impact research, teaching, mentorship, and international collaboration in areas of national priority, including semiconductors, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, healthcare, biotechnology, clean energy, advanced materials, cybersecurity, manufacturing, agriculture, space, and other frontier technologies.
