In continuation of the trailing email.This is to apprise you that in this vacation period three opportunities available to the students and other interested individuals for participating in
(a) 'Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz,'
(b) 'Dhai Akhar' Essay writing competition and registering for
(c) 'World Hindi Conference'.
Brief particulars are as below:
(a). The 'Bharat Ko Janiye' Quiz will begin in July 2018 and organized in 4 rounds. The first round of quiz will be executed by the Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi. The quiz will be held for two distinct categories of participants, PIOs & NRIs separately. Embassy will therefore give medals to these top three winners of each category, who will then participate in the second round of quiz (online) to be conducted by the Ministry in New Delhi. The third and fourth rounds (semi final and final round) will also be conducted by the Ministry in New Delhi. All participants, who are invited for onsite quiz (3rd and 4th round) would attend a workshop in New Delhi and participate in the Bharat ko Janiye Yatra, a 15 day tour of India. After Yatra, final round (onsite) will be held in New Delhi and top 3 winners will be awarded medals at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention 2019.
(b). Indian Department of Posts is organising a letter writing campaign at international level engaging the Indian diaspora. The campaign is titled 'Dhai Akhar' Letter Writing Campaign. The theme/topic of the 'Dhai Akhar' Letter Writing Campaign is "Letter to my motherland" inspired by Rabindranath Tagore's "Amar Desher Mati".
The categories for International Level 'Dhai Akhar' letter writing are, Up to 18 years and Above 18 years. The letter is to be handwritten on plain A-4 size paper with a word limit not exceeding 1000 words and a scanned copy submitted

(c).The 11th World Hindi Conference (WHC) is being organized from 18-20 August 2018 in Mauritius by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India in association with the Government of Mauritius.
The main theme of the Conference is "Hindi Vishwa Aur Bharatiy Sanskriti".
The venue of the Conference is "Swami Vivekanand International Convention Centre", Pailles Mauritius.

Subject: Second Edition of Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz 2018-19
With an aim to motivate overseas Indian youth to develop interest to know and understand India, as envisaged by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi, the Ministry of External Affairs is organizing the second edition of 'Bharat Ko Janiye' (BKJ) quiz with an expected participation of 100,000 overseas Indians youth in 2018-19. The quiz is open for overseas Indian youth between age of 15 and 35 years.
