This team-based activity provides the opportunity for school students to showcase their IT skills to peers, university students, academics and industry experts. The IT Marathon consists of five categories:
IT Contest, IT Showcase, IT-4 Kids and IT-4 Kids "Smart World" and IT 4 Special Needs.
The first two competitions are team-based where each team consists of three students, while others are individual.
IT Contest (for grade 9 -12 students)
IT contest challenges general IT skills of participating students in Web design, programming, hardware, and graphics.
IT Showcase (for grade 10 -12 students)
The objective of this showcase is to provide a venue for young innovators to demonstrate their creative ideas in both software and hardware areas of the vibrant IT knowledge field.
· The visual programming language, called Scratch, or
· The Microsoft online programming environment, called Touch Develop.
IT 4 Special Needs,
IT 4 Special Needs offers the opportunities to show the ability of students with special needs to contribute to the IT field with new ideas, software tools, IT equipment, etc. Two categories of participation are offered:
1. IT Showcase 4SpecialNeeds (Grade 5-12)
2. IT 4 Special Needs Kids. ( Grade 1-6)
If your ward is interested in participating for any of the above said competition, kindly let us know through the attached acknowledgement.
The last date to submit the acknowledgement is 10/02/2019. The selection round will take place in the school.
