Parents,                                 Ramadan is a time for reflection, compassion and giving. During the holy month we are reminded of the importance of coming together to help the most vulnerable. This year, as the world begins to recover from the pandemic, we are mindful that many communities around the world still face the daily threat of neglected tropical diseases. Diseases like river blindness cause lifelong disability and suffering but are entirely preventable. The Reach Campaign is working to end these diseases and ensure a brighter future for all. Our Ramadan 2021 School Campaign is DIRHAMS FOR CHANGE. We are asking schools to strive to encourage their community to donate 2 AED to save 2 Eyes during the month of Ramadan. Just 2 AED provides treatment to protect one person from river blindness for an entire year. All proceeds will be donated to Emirates Red Crescent in support of the Reach Campaign. SC16-- BE THE BRAND AMBASSADOR OF TRIBES INDIA

 

 

 

Students,                   Be the Brand Ambassador of Tribes India" Contest is being launched by TRIFED, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India with the objective of promoting tribal craft, culture, and lifestyle in general and for supporting government efforts of socio-economic development of tribals across the country and familiarizing the public with their heritage and artistry. The participant will have to post their Stories featuring any tribal product (s) highlighting his/ her experience in using the tribal product along with details of the tribal product and place/ the shop details from where it was purchased. These stories are required in the form of short videos ranging from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. The tribal products may include gents or ladies' apparel, jewelry, accessories, paintings, metal crafts, terracotta & pottery, decorative items, food & organic items, cane & bamboo items, stationery, furniture, home furnishings, cuisine, etc. The participants will share their stories in form of a link to their Youtube Video on the MyGov portal. The last date of submission is 14th May 2021. All selected entries will be awarded a Gift Voucher. A maximum of 50 entries shall be selected for receiving the Vouchers valid at all Tribes India Showrooms and its e-commerce site Tribesindia.com.
