The Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) is a system of international assessments that measures 15-year-old students 'capabilities in reading literacy,
mathematics literacy, and science literacy every three years.
This test is conducted by the OECD. (Organization of Economic development and Cooperation).
The objective of PISA is to measure the "yield" of education systems, or what skills and competencies students have acquired and can apply in reading,Mathematics, and science to real-world contexts by age 15.
In the UAE, PISA results play a significant role in shaping school rating. The Ministry of Education and ADEK use PISA scores to evaluate the effectiveness
of schools and identify areas needing improvement. Schools with higher PISA scores are often recognized for their academic excellence.
ADEK has created an assessment platform that uses AI and includes 13 PISA practice quizzes. Before the PISA exam, which is set for May 12–23, 2025 for our school, it is crucial that all 15-year-old students
complete the 13 quizzes. ADEK offers a student user manual along with a link to the assessment platform. Students must present both their ESIS ID and the school's ESIS ID in order to sign in. The ESIS ID
for the school is 9120.
