We are excited to inform you about the Unicus Global Knowledge Explorer (UGKE) – a unique platform for students from Grades 2 to 11. UGKE serves as a qualifying exam for the prestigious Unicus Global Knowledge Olympiad (UGKO) and offers an excellent opportunity to test your knowledge and compete on a global level.

• Two mock tests provided for practice

         UAESchool Youth Festival is being organised by the Abu Dhabi Malayalee Samajam, which will take place on May 16th, 17th, and 18th ,2025 at the Malayalee Samajam, Mussafah.

This exciting event aims to bring together youth from various schools to celebrate their talents and foster a sense of unity and culture. We believe the participation of your school's students and their families will be invaluable to the success of the festival.

1. Entries must reach the Samajam Office on or before 15th May 2025 
2. A participant should not engage in more than 5 items. 
3. Age will be considered as of 9th February 2025- Attach a mandatory copy of the Emirates ID. 
4. Entry fee: Dh 150/- for ADMS Members & Dh 200/- for Non-Members. 
5. The decision of the judges will be final. 
6. Grading: First - 5 points; Second - 3 points; Third - 1 point. 
7. Kalathilakm candidates should score the most points from Individual items & win at least one prize in classical dance. 
8. Top scorers in each age group will receive a special award. 
9. The top scorer from the age groups above 9 to 18 years will be declared as "SAMAJAM KALATHILAKAM 2025" 
10. In the case of a competition with only one participant, the winner's points will not be considered for the overall championship.

To motivate students for creative writing and improve their writing skills and vocabulary, The Canterbury Club of Sunrise English Private School is organizing WORD MEMOIR CONTEST (Story Writing Competition) for grade 9 to 12 students  on Friday,  May 09, 2025 .The details of the competition are as follows-:

 

About Word Memoir Contest:

A memoir is a personal narrative drawn from life's experiences. It tells the story of who you are, what shaped you, and the lessons you've learned.

For this contest, we're inviting students to write a short, powerful story about a meaningful experience from their lives.

 

Theme/prompt:  A theme or prompt for your memoir will be revealed at the spot.

Classes   : 9 to 12

Time Limit   : 10 minutes

Word Limit: 100 words

Language: English
