                 The AbuDhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) has mandated  that all students from grade 3 to 9 would need to participate in  an external assessment. 

1. The recommended assessments for Asian curriculum schools are ASSET and ACER(IBT).Sunrise English Private School has chosen ASSET as  the required assessment as per the National Agenda Parameter for AbuDhabi and UAE.

2. The exam will be conducted online(as per the instructions by ADEK) ,during the months of January and February. The fee for the test is AED 74 (inclusive of VAT) for English, Maths and Science.

 

3. All parents are requested to fill the attached PARENTAL CONSENT SLIP and send it to class teachers by 5^th December,2021.

 

4. Please deposit directly to our school bank account as mentioned below or pay in cash at the school fees counter between 8.00 am to 1.30 pm from Sunday-Thursday.

 

5. Kindly send the scanned copy of deposit slip mentioning the GR No. and fee details to our school email as accounts@seps-auh.com

PN 533- Sastra Pratibha contest GRADE 5 -12

                                    Greetings from Science India Forum –UAE !

Sastra Prathibha Contest, popularly acronym as SPC, is one of the important programs conducted annually by SIF. SPC is an overseas version of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM), India's largest science talent search organized by Vijnana Bharati.

The Central Board of Secondary Education recommends all schools to encourage maximum participation in this contest.

The SPC contest is supported by the Embassy of India, U.A.E. & Consulate General, Dubai, U.A.E.

We are glad to announce that registration to SPC 2021 has commenced from 23.06.2021 and will remain open until 22.12. 2021.

Essential steps to register for SPC'21:-

Step 1 - To register click the web link - https://www.sifuae.com/spc/

Step 2 – If student have registered for SPC'20 then upon clicking the above link, choose "Re-Registration" button and login to the web app using the last year credentials (EID & PW). Then edit the profile, specially grade & school, and process the contest fee payment to confirm participation to SPC '21.

Step 3 - If a student is participating for the first time then upon clicking the above web link, choose the "New-Registration" button. Then create a profile by filling all the details carefully & process the 

contest fee to confirm participation in SPC '21.

All the finer details of the contest will be available on the dashboard of students, which are accessible by login to the SPC '21 web app through the Above link.

PN 536---Poster Making Competition-Grade 4-9

Parents and Students, 
                  We are pleased to inform you that  the English Department of Sunrise English Private School is organizing a poster making competition for students from 4th to 9th grade. The theme of the poster is  "Importance of Vaccination".

Five winners will be awarded with merit certificates and their art works along with their photos will be uploaded in the school Facebook page.
Judging Criteria: Students will be judged on the basis of the following criteria:
1. Creativity
2. Thematic relevance
3. Aesthetic appeal 

4. Ingenuity 

Submission Guidelines –

1. The painting should be "JPEG" or "PDF" format.
2. Participants are free to use drawing paper, art paper or any other type of white paper of A4/A3 size.
3. The file has to be named in the following format - Full Name of participant followed by grade and section.For example- SARAH JOSEPH 7 B.

4. The submission has to be mailed to the respective in-charge.

                       COVID-19 has greatly affected our lives, our work and our activities. Getting fully vaccinated as soon as possible is the best thing you can do to protect yourself and help us all get back to life more like we remember it before COVID-19.

·  It takes time for the body to build up protection after vaccination, and two doses are needed for the best protection.
