Pathfinders is a student-oriented project committed to rooting out and eliminating the adverse effects of Desertification in the UAE using a plethora of methods and solutions. 

Desertification is an intense problem faced by the people in UAE society, a group of children as mentioned above is launching an initiative to combat this problem by mainly focusing on the creation of a digital database to track down desertification and to create a sole government agency for combating desertification. As per reports 80% of UAE is covered with deserted region and its a major cause for the intense hot climate in this region , if so deserted regions are reduce and agriculture and urbanisation is done in these areas, there can be a huge impact on reducing this hot climate in the country through which more businesses will startup here and even more capital will flow to this country which can result in expanding the UAE economy.

PN 570--Participate in OLL & IIT Bombay Robotics Competition [Grade 3-12]

We are thrilled to inform you about an exciting opportunity for our students. OLL & IIT Bombay are hosting a Robotics competition as part of their annual Techfest, and we are inviting students from 1st to 

12th grade to participate. This event offers a platform for young innovators to showcase their skills that they have learnt in robotics and compete with their peers from other schools.

 

Competition Details:

 

Showcase your Robot at IIT Bombay

Prizes: Rs 25,000, Rs 15,000, and Rs 10,000 for the top three entries.

Certification: Participation certificates from OLL, STEM UNESCO & IIT Bombay.

 

Theme of the Year: Make in India, Make for Space : A robot which would be made with parts from India and could have potential use in Space.

 

Innovate Your Own Robot: Students are encouraged to build and present innovative robots of their choice related to the theme. it could be a Rover, a Rocket, an Automated helmet, These projects will be judged by a panel of experts from IIT Bombay. Students have complete creativity to decide an idea for their robot, use material of their choice and decorate in the manner they want to.

2. All the students must wear the tie and identity card . If any student does not wear the tie and identity card , the student will not be allowed to appear for the exam.Boys must have trimmed hair cut.

                                                       Please note the following instructions pertaining to the P-2 exam for Grade 9 and 11 Students.

1] P-2 exam will be conducted from 5-13 December, 2023 for Grade 9 and 11 students. 

2] All the students should  be dressed in complete school uniform.Any student in improper dress code, untrimmed hair cut, etc will not be permitted to write the exam. 

3] Dress code comprises the school uniform,tie, belt,Identity card,blue socks and shoes. Students are expected to have a trimmed hair cut. 

4] Students are strictly instructed not to wear the school sweater during the conduct of the exam.

5] Any student who uses any unfair means during the examination will be given zero marks for all the subjects.

PN 552--CHRISTMAS CAROL SINGING COMPETITION ( GROUP )FOR GRADE 4 - 8

Respected Parents and Students,

                    The Department of Music will be conducting Christmas carol singing competition (Group) for the students of grade 4 to 8 (Boys and Girls). The event will be held on Thursday-07/12/2023. The aim of the Christmas Day song Competition is to celebrate the holiday spirit through creative musical expression, fostering community engagement and spreading joy through festive tunes.  Participants often showcase their talent and enthusiasm for Christmas by composing or performing original songs or unique renditions of traditional ones.

 

                  

CONDUCT AND RULES OF THE COMPETITION

1. Grade 4 – 8 students are eligible to participate in this competition.

2. Duration: 4 Minutes for each group. Please adhere to the time limit.

3. Participants should wear normal school uniform.

4. Participants can use Karaoke for this competition.

5. The event will be judged on the basis of Stage presence / Audience communication, Diction, Vocal quality, Rhythmic Interpretation, Dynamics, Song choice and Harmony.

6. Only one group can participate from each class. Each group can have minimum 3 participants and maximum 7 participants.
