Keeping this in mind, The USST Sheikh Zayed Club of Sunrise English Private School takes pride in organizing the Poetry Recitation Competition 'Poetry in Praise of UAE Leaders! ' for grade 8 and grade 9 Students.
The competition will unleash the creativity of students and unveil the love and compassion towards UAE.
In our endeavour to empower the students with good recitation skills, we urge students to prepare for the competition with a poem of minimum 10-12 lines based on the theme 'Poetry in Praise of UAE leaders! '.
RULES OF THE COMPETITION
· Topic: 'Poetry in Praise of UAE leaders! '.
· Grades eligible: Grade – 8 and Grade 9 Girls and Boys
· Duration– 2 minutes for each student.
· Poems must be entirely the original work of the student.
· It is a solo event and the competition would be judged based on definite rubrics.
· Participants must read their poem within the time limit on the day of event.
· Competition will be held on 16/11/2023.
· The competition will be judged on the following criteria:-
· 1.Content
· 2.Fluency
· 3.Pronunciation
· 4.Voice modulation and Expressions
