Parents,

             We are pleased to inform you that registration is now open for the Kenken International Championship 2022. This will be an exciting and valuable chance for our pupils to compete in the world's biggest math puzzle championship. 

Kenken is the world's fastest-growing, most played, and most popular math and logic puzzle in the world. Syndicated in over 150 newspapers worldwide, with over 1 million puzzle books sold and used as a teaching tool by over 30,000 teachers, Kenken is truly a worldwide phenomenon. Each year, Kenken Puzzle Company organizes a championship that brings together some of the best Kenken players across the globe. Participants from the United States, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, India, and many other countries worldwide compete for the title of International Kenken Champions.

 

We have experienced, first-hand, the curiosity in the Kenken puzzles among our student community. Therefore, we are very excited about the KIC 2022, which is now online with some exciting changes to improve the puzzling skills of the participants.

 

Kenken Puzzles are proven to improve mathematical/numeracy fluency, mental speed, arithmetic skills, concentration and attention span, photographic memory, logical reasoning, learning abilities, problem solving, and observational skills. Furthermore, it is recognized by the NCTM (the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, USA) as a powerful tool to build reasoning skills, problem-solving aptitude, perseverance, and concentration in kids. Moreover, throughout the championship rounds, students can expect to win certificates and medals, trophies, and other goodies. Finally, six students will be selected for the International round to represent UAE at the international stage.

PN 218----MINISTRY SUBJECTS [Grade 1-12]

Parents and Students,                                       Please note the following:  1. Grade 1 to 12 students are expected to study all the subjects for all the exams sincerely and thoroughly. 2. Ministry Subjects like Islamic studies, Arabic and USST marks are added to the Grand total of the marks and will impact the overall percentage as well as the rank 3. Moral Science marks will also be counted for all the non muslim students from Grade 1-12 along with the Grand total 4. Therefore students are requested to take serious note of studying all the subjects sincerely.   5. Grade X and XII students are hereby informed that the ministry subject marks (Arabic and Islamic studies) will reflect on the overall percentage secured in the Board exam as these two subjects are added up with the grand total of other 5 subjects.

Parents,

                                          A Quran recitation competition is being organized for the students of Grade 2 and 3 to be held on 8/9/2022. The competition is organized by the Department of Islamic studies to foster the skill of Reciting Quran in an excellent way.

CONDUCT AND RULES OF THE COMPETITION

Ø Recite Surah Al Kafirun from memory.

Ø Competition will be conducted in Islamic Room.

Ø Islamic dress code is mandatory.
