PN 174--MOTHERS DAY ART CONTEST-2024 [Grade 1-12]


 

Respected Parents and Students,

                                                                             Mother's Day is a unique celebration of the extraordinary relationship that exists between mothers and their offspring. This relationship is characterized by love, affection, and unending dedication.

We are pleased to inform you that on the occasion of Mother's Day on 12th May 2024, the Arts Department of Sunrise English Private School is organizing an Art Contest for students from Grade 1 to 12. This competition aims to celebrate and honor the love and the sacrifice of mothers through the artistic expressions of our students. So, kindly encourage your ward to prepare their Art works at home (Except Grade-1 & 2) and submit for the competition in school to their respective art teachers. Please refer to the details below regarding the categories and materials.

 

Rules and Regulations

1

The competition is open to all the Students of our school in their respective categories. All the Artworks should reach us on or before 13th May, 2024.

    Categories

 

2.1

Group 1 – Grade 1 & 2

 Colouring (Color pencils or Crayons) Colouring picture will be given to students in art periods

2.2

Group 2 – Grade 3&4

 Flower vase painting with Cotton buds (poster colours, or any water based colours etc) Make the art work with the help of mother.

2.3

Group 3 – Grade 5 & 6

Photo Frame (Cardboard, Carton, Ropes, ties, rings, Colored sheets, printed

papers, gift wrapping papers, Stickers, coloured pens, markers, White glue,

etc)

2.4

Group 4 – Grade 7 & 8

Wind Chimes with your mother`s photo(Craft papers, Sketch pens, decorative materials , etc)

2.5

Group 5– Grade 9 & 10

·         Scrapbook Making (Capturing Special Memories with your mom)(Cardboard, Carton, Ropes, ties, rings, Colored sheets, printed papers, gift wrapping papers, Stickers, coloured pens, markers, White glue, etc)

2.6

Group 6– Grade 11 & 12

Collage making; with mixed media (Topic –Moments with your Mom)(Paper,Magazine,photo etc.)

A4 or A3 size papers only to  be used

All artworks must be the original idea and creation of the Students. Paintings that have been shown or accepted in other competitions will not be accepted.

Please ensure that the name of the Student, class and section should be mentioned in the backside of the drawing.

Judging Criteria - The entries will be assessed on the basis of creativity and imagination, composition, use of colour and choice of subject. Three winners will be chosen in each category and awarded with merit certificates

PN 173--Monthly Assessment [Grade 1-9 and 11]



Respected Parents and Students, 

Please note -

1) The monthly assessment for grades 1–9 and 11 for the academic year 2024–2025 will commence from May 13, 2024, as shared with parents during orientation.

Students will be assessed between May 13- 20, 2024 


2) The major subjects - 

Arabic , English, Hindi, Mathematics and EVS.-Grade 1,2 and 3

Arabic , English, Hindi, Mathematics Science, and Social Science for Grade 4-9 and 

Grade 11 students-Main 5 subjects. 


3) The portions will be notified through Google Classroom. The monthly assessment will be out of ten marks, with competency and application-based questions that evaluate the students' understanding of that particular subject.


4)  If the student misses the formative and summative exams, his or her monthly assessment marks will be considered in that case. 


5) Attendance for the monthly assessment is mandatory.

PN 127--Open house -MAY 4,2024

ATTENDANCE IS ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY AS THE STUDENTS AND ANY 1 PARENT OF EACH STUDENT NEED TO SIGN ON THE LIST OF CANDIDATES DOCUMENT OF CBSE FOR THE BOARD EXAMS-2025 ON MAY 4,2024



THE LIST OF CANDIDATES DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE SENT HOME 




Respected Parents and Students, 

                                Please note that open house is scheduled for P-1 exams on Saturday , May 4, 2024 for Grade 10 and 12 Students.Please note the following-


1) The timings for the open house is from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon on May 4,2024 

2) The parent as well as the student will attend the open house face to face. Parents must attend  the open house so as to know their ward's progress in studies. 


3)  Notifying all the parents to ensure that they have paid the first term fees before the open house. Answer papers will not be shown if the first term fees have not been paid. 

4) Parents have the option of paying the first term fees ,if pending by cash on May 4,2024 between 8.30 am -11.00 am 

5)  All the students are expected to be dressed in complete school uniform for the open house. 

ANSWER PAPERS WILL NOT BE SHOWN IN CASE THE STUDENT DOES NOT FOLLOW THE DRESS CODE.
