PsychED School Conference 2024, is organised by the Manipal Institute of Liberal Arts at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Dubai. As you may know, the conference is a one-day event scheduled for October 22nd, 2024, and is open to students from Grade 9/Year 8 and above across the UAE who are interested in psychology.
Due to requests, we have extended the deadlines for submission and registration to ensure broader participation. Please find theupdated deadlines and details for each event below:
- Young Scholar Award: An academic poster presentation competition
Students create educational posters on a psychology-related topic and present them to a panel of judges. The best poster will receive the Young Scholar Award, which includes a trophy, certificate, and a University Scholarship.

- Roundtable Conference: 'Some Talk, All Talk, or No Talk: Psychology Misrepresented?'
Student delegates participate in a moderated discussion on how psychology is represented in popular culture. A Best Delegate will be selected at the end of the discussion.

- Dopa-meme: A Psychology meme creation competition
Students create memes based on the templates given to them surrounding concepts from psychology. All entries that meet the guidelines will be posted on the PsychED Instagram page, and a winner will be selected based on the number of shares each meme receives.
