We are delighted to inform you that the Primary and Secondary Arabic Departments will be jointly celebrating Arabic Language Week, a joyful and enriching initiative designed to foster love and appreciation for the Arabic language and culture among our students from Grades 1 to 8.
Throughout the week, students will participate in a range of interactive, creative, and educational activities that aim to strengthen their language skills, enhance cultural understanding, and inspire pride in the rich heritage of the Arabic language.
🌟 Program Highlights (Across Grades 1–8):
Grades 1–2
• Color the UAE Flag: Learn the four colors of the UAE flag and their meanings, promoting national pride.
• Arabic Traditional Dance: Experience the rhythm and joy of traditional Arabic music and movement.
• Arabic Word Hunt: Engage in a fun and exciting activity to identify and collect Arabic words, reinforcing vocabulary.
Grades 3–5
• Arabic Spelling Bee: Strengthen spelling and pronunciation skills in an enjoyable, competitive format.
• Arabic Handwriting Challenge: Enhance handwriting skills and appreciation for Arabic calligraphy.
• Short Video Creation: Express creativity by preparing short videos in Arabic on simple and meaningful topics.
Grades 6–8
• Arabic Elocution Competition: Build confidence and improve public speaking skills while expressing thoughts in Arabic.
• Cultural Fair & Poster Making: Highlight the beauty of Arabic traditions and UAE heritage through art, displays, and cultural exhibits.
• Arabic Quiz: Test students' knowledge of the Arabic language, poets, culture, and history.
📌 Note:
All the above activities will be conducted during the respective Arabic periods throughout the week. Participation is mandatory for all students, as these programs form an integral part of our curriculum and are designed to make learning Arabic meaningful, engaging, and enjoyable.
We encourage parents to support and motivate their children to participate enthusiastically and to share their daily learning experiences at home.
