                               Greetings!The vision of Sunrise English Private School (SEPS) - Abu Dhabi is to foster excellence in educating young people through collaboration, informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Our learners will be well-prepared and responsible citizens to meet the further global challenges. Kindly note the school is initiating many more sporting events this year like Basketball, Handball, Badminton, Athletics, Volleyball, Swimming, Skating and Judo in order to register and enroll our kids for CBSE UAE Cluster Sports and Games Championship.

· Kindly fill the acknowledgment and send only the hard copy to the respective PHE teacher, latest by 23rd  September, 2019.

· Please note the categories very carefully

· Please note enroll your child only for one event in which your child performs well except Athletics.

· Children who are already selected for CBSE UAE Cluster Football, KHO KHO and chess teams will not be eligible for selecting any of the below mention sporting events.

Silver Zone Olympiads

                              Greetings! Silver zone Foundation is reckoned as the organizer of the biggest and the most popular International Olympiads. For the past 15 years, our Olympiads have reputedly created a platform for students, from all walks of life, to appear and judge their mettle at various levels of these highly appreciated competitive examinations, both on National and International scale.

                        For your academic interest, more than 18 lacs of students from 7000 plus schools, not only of India, but also from QATAR, OMAN, SAUDI ARABIA, DUBAI, NEPAL, INDONESIA, UAE, JAPAN, MALAYSIA,SINGAPORE, KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN, KUWAIT, GHANA etc participated in different Olympiads conducted by the Foundation.

The competitions are open to all the students, from Class-I to Class-XII, and a perfect global platform wherein a student can actually put his/her talent, memory, knowledge and skill sets to test and can apprehend his/her standing on an international scale.

All these in turn help them great as a trajectory for their achievements in higher studies and professional areas, later in life.
 The cost for each Olympiad is 30 Dirhams along with study material.Last date of payment is 24.09.2019.Interested students can pay the amount to class teacher. Refer the attachment.

Did you know?

• Every year, UAE residents buy millions of batteries, and once consumed, they end up in landfills.
• These batteries can take up to a hundred years to decompose.
• Batteries are made of loads of useful materials, like the metals steel and zinc and can be easily recycled just like newspapers, soft drink cans and plastic bottles.

‌ABOUT THE COMPETITION

In September 2018, Bee'ah in partnership with Duracell launched a new interactive recycling competition called "The Great Battery Challenge". The collaboration continues this year as well. From 1st of October 2019 to 2nd of April 2020, collect as many batteries as you can in the special battery bin provided by Bee'ah to your school.

The school with the highest collection wins!

• 1st Place – AED 15,000
• 2nd Place – AED 10,000
• 3rd Place – AED 5,000

COMPETITION CRITERIA

• Registration for the competition is from 8th September 2019 – 26th September 2019.
• You must use the special battery bin to collect the batteries.
• Winners will be determined based on the weight of the collected batteries.
• The batteries must be used.
• Increase awareness in your school regarding the importance of recycling batteries.
• Handing the batteries collected on a regular basis to Bee'ah's collection team.
• Using safety methods to discard the batteries.
