Reminder—Asset Exams

Respected Parents,

The educational authorities in UAE have now recognised and confirmed ASSET as the required assessment for all Indian curriculum schools in the Northern Emirates. Since this external assessment is the best suited for our curriculum, we have decided to go ahead with enrolling our school for ASSET.

Over 1 MILLION children have taken ASSET so far over the past several years. ASSET is a unique test that checks the depth of students' understanding on every topic. The fee for the test is AED 74 (inclusive of VAT) for English, Maths and Science for Classes 3 to 10 and AED 32(VAT inclusive) each for Hindi (Class 4 to 8) and Social Studies (Classes 5 to 10). 

 

HOW DOES YOUR CHILD BENEFIT FROM TAKING ASSET? 

After the Asset test, your child will receive a personalised comprehensive view of his/her performance, in the Student MyBook, along with detailed insights on his/her strengths and areas that need improvement. Your child will also get benchmarked with his/her/ peers across the country and internationally, to help them understand where they stand, along with targeted practice questions.

 

Students from Grade 5 to 8 achieving scores of 90^th percentile and above automatically qualify to participate in the prestigious ASSET Talent Search, a "by invitation only" event backed by some of the top-ranking Universities in the US. ASSET papers are designed by subject experts who specialize in designing questions that test understanding of a concept in an interesting manner. This makes the testing experience stress-free and fun for students. Please note that no prior preparation is required for the test. Students benefit greatly from the individualized analysis, remedial instructions and questions that they can use to practice at home.  As directed by the National Agenda Parameter, we are registering our school for ASSET in 2019. 

 

The tests will be conducted online and test dates will be scheduled anytime between January 10^th and March 5^th. Dates relevant to your ward's grade will be informed closer to the date. Kindly make sure to remit the payment on time by 31.10.2019.

In case our school opts for the pen and paper version of ASSET, the dates for the same are from December 4^th to 6^th. Kindly ensure that your ward registers and attends the exam -as, individually these tests give extremely useful feedback for sustained improvement in academics. 

 

Preparation for ASSET: Though ASSET is a test that does not require preparation, students may visit www.aqad.in to sign up to receive their grade appropriate questions to familiarise themselves with the type of questions asked in Asset.

• External/Outside students are not allowed to register here, the date of online registration for outsiders will be published in the school website.
• As per ADEK, applicant should have completed 4 years as on 31/07/2020 for the registration.
• Any information incorrectly or wrongly submitted will result in cancellation of admission, without any further discussion.
• The online registration must be filled and submitted online latest by 26th October 2019.
• No request for admission received after 26th October 2019 will be considered.
• On successful submission of the application form, you will receive a page saying congratulations with a Registration Number of your submission.
