IT Marathon circular

​

The IT Marathon is an annual competition for school students throughout the UAE. The Marathon is organized by the College of Information Technology (CIT) at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). The Marathon seeks to excite students in the field of Information Technology through involving them in an enjoyable and challenging competition.

​                 ​

This team-based activity provides the opportunity for school students to showcase their IT skills to peers, university students, academics and industry experts.The IT Marathon consists of four categories: IT Contest, IT Showcase, I

4Kids and IT

​-​

4Kids "Smart World". The first two competitions are team-based where each team consists of three students, while IT

​-​

4Kids  is based on individual participation.

IT Contest( for grade 9 -12 students)

IT contest challenges general IT skills of participating students in Web design, programming, hardware, and graphics. This year there will be a general IT contest for all grades and a special grade 12 IT contest (information will be announced soon in the website for the special Grade 12 IT contest).

IT Showcase ( for grade 10 -12 students)

The objective of this showcase is to provide a venue for young innovators to demonstrate their creative ideas in both software and hardware areas of the vibrant IT knowledge field.

IT4Kids (for grade 6 -  9 students)

It provides young school students a chance to show their talents and creativity in developing interactive games, stories, animations, simulations, and other types of dynamic media using Scratch software.

IT4Kids ( for grade 3 to 6 students)

In this competition students are asked to show their creativity in proposing a new idea on the topic "My dream AI mobile app that doesn't exist".

1] Due to heavy fog prediction, tomorrow (Sunday, 11.02.2018) the classes will start by 09:30AM.​

2] Students using school transport will be picked up two hours later than the usual time from their respective stop.

​3] Own transport student should be dropped by 09:15​AM​ only​.

​4] The School will close ​at​ usual time by 02:10​PM for ​Grade 1 -11 & KG students will be dispersed at usual timings.

Open house postponed

Respected Parents,
                                 Please note Open day for Kg 1,2 and Grade 1-8 Students will be held on 17.02.2018.
There will be no open day on 10.02.2018.

Please note-

1] Timings-09.00 am to 12.00 noon. These timings to be strictly followed
.

2] Attendance of all students along with their parents is mandatory.

3] Students must accompany their parents for Open House in complete School Uniform and wear their Identity card.

4] Parents can also use the back gate on Open House day.
