1.Sunrise English Private School is organizing Inter House Sports Competition 2019-2020 for Grade IV & V boys & girls from 18th February - 24th February,2020  during school hours in the school premises. 

2.Please note selection will be held as per the attached schedule.

3. Students are instructed to wear PHE uniform.

4.Certificates will be given for the winners and runners up team.

5.Best player will be awarded with the best player trophy.

6.Based on the performance students will be getting the chance to play for the school team.  

7.Kindly note that each student can participate in only one event.

8.In case your ward is interested in participating, kindly send the attached acknowledgment hard copy only by 12.02.2020.

Logo Design Contest for the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA)

                             The Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) is a prestigious, pro-active think tank specializing in foreign policy issues from India's perspective. It was established in 1943 by a group of eminent intellectuals. By an Act of Parliament in 2001, the Indian Council of World Affairs has been declared an institution of national importance. Hon'ble Vice President of India is the ex-officio President of ICWA. 

The Council conducts policy research through its talented in-house faculty as well as external experts. It regularly organizes an array of intellectual activities including conferences, seminars, round table discussions, lectures and publications. The Council has Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with its counterpart institutions in 45 countries as well as with 9 domestic institutions. In addition, the Council is also engaged in promoting awareness about India's foreign policy among academics and students in various central and other Indian universities.

Through its multiple assets, namely a rich library, an informative and user-friendly website, a reputed journal named India Quarterly, its publication programme and its historical seat 'Sapru House', it is engaged in raising public awareness about India's role in international affairs.

      The "Water Heroes – Share Your Stories" Contest is being launched by the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation; Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India with the objective of promoting value of water in general and for supporting country-wide efforts on water conservation and sustainable development of water resources.

The participant will have to post their Success Stories in the field of water conservation which will comprise of a Write-up (upto 300 words), Pictures and a video of one to five minutes duration depicting their efforts/ significant contributions/ best practices used in different parts of the country in the field of water conservation, water utilization or water resources development and management. The participants will share their Stories, pictures along with the link of their Youtube Video on the MyGov portal. In addition to MyGov Portal, the entries may also be submitted to waterheroes.cgwb@gmail.com

Instructions to upload film:
1. Please upload your film on your youtube channel.
2. In the comment section, copy paste your film youtube link here. (do not upload the film here )

All selected entries will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000/- each. The Contest shall run for duration of 10 months. Each month, a maximum of 10 entries shall be selected for the cash prize.

Safety Instructions Must be Followed

Respected Parents,

                                  This is to your kind attention, the school has got approval form Department of transportation to control, assist the traffic and pedestrians around our school premises. To improve the safety of students during morning arrival & afternoon dispersal time, school has deployed security and school staff to assist students and parents while road crossing near the pedestrian crossing point. The ultimate aim for this action is to reduce traffic on the road and improve safety of our school students. But we have observed that a lot of students and parents are still not using the pedestrian crossing & some parents are not cooperating with our security and school staff. Hereby we are requesting all the parents to support us to improve the safety of our students.

All parents are requested to always follow the below mentioned points:

1) Always use and instruct children to use pedestrian crossing.

2) Always leave the students in school premises, do not leave the children to cross the road alone.

3) Always cross the road as per the security signal.

4) Always collect the children from inside the school premises (For walking with parents and guardians students only) .

5) Do not instruct children to come and wait outside the school premises. (For walking with parents and guardians students only).

6) Instruct children to always wear school ID cards.

7) Those who are using bicycles, Instruct children to use walkway,not to ride cycle on main roads and instruct them to wear a helmet while riding.

Note: 

As per the instruction from Department of transportation, Those who are violating the traffic rules the school will collect information and report to DOT directly. Those who are violating the one way sign in front of the school will be reported to DOT without notice.

"Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat" Programme

                                 The "Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat" Programme,aims to actively enhance interaction between people of diverse cultures living in different States and UT's in India, with the objective of promoting greater mutual understanding amongst them.As per the programme, each year, every State/UT would be paired with another State/UT in India for reciprocal interaction between the people. It is envisaged through this exchange, that the knowledge of the language, culture, traditions and practices of different states will lead to an enhanced understanding and bonding between one another, thereby strengthening the unity & integrity of India. The States & UTs are to embark on a mission to enhance their culture, academic and economic ties by entering into a wide range of mutual engagements with the paired States/UTs covering the spheres of music, drama, cuisine, language, history, tourism and other forms of exchange between the people. As a part of "Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat " activities, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India is conducting Quiz Competition from 1st January 2020 to 30th June 2020.In these quiz, contestants from each state will be quizzed on respective pairing state & winners will be taken on tour to their respective pairing state as reward.

The prize for the winners would be an all paid trip to the pairing state for winner +one companion(2 Nights and 3Days on a fixed itinerary
