Respected Parents and Students,                                                  Greetings from Science India Forum–UAE! Due to overwhelming registrations & pressing demand from various stakeholders, SIF has decided to extend the registration deadline of SPC '22 to 19th January 2023. Accordingly, a new schedule of SPC'22 is as per the following timeline: - 1st stage Elementary (home based online): Saturday, 21st January 2023. 2nd stage Intermediate (home based online): Saturday, 18th February 2023 3rd stage Advance (offline; in-campus; science camp): Saturday, 25th February 2023.    As informed earlier participation fee is not applicable to 1st level participation of this year's contest. Those students who will qualify to the 2nd level must pay the contest fee of 25/- AED to continue participating in the contest.                           The Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) has mandated  that all students from Grades 3 to 9 must participate in  an external assessment. Sunrise English Private School has chosen ACER IBT as  the required assessment as per the National Agenda Parameter for Abu Dhabi and UAE. The exam will be conducted online(as per the instructions by ADEK) ,during the month of November 2022. The assessment will be for English, Mathematics and Science.

    

Please note that ACER exam fees of 80 Dirhams will be collected with second term fees. Those parents who have already paid the second term fees are requested to pay 80 Dirhams to the below mentioned school accounts latest by 25/11/2022(Extended last date).

                                             Please note that, as part of Thanksgiving day, Sunrise English Private School would like to announce a Card making Activity for our children from Grade -1 to Grade 5.

This Activity will be held on 24/11/2022. Aim of the activity to encourage students to make Thanksgiving greeting cards to express their gratitude towards their loved ones.

Students will be expected to draw, cut, paste, colour, paint etc., on the card, to make it bright and colourful.Please send your child properly equipped with the art material (pencil colours, glitter pens, Colour papers, paint or any other objects/material for decoration) that the child will require to make the card.

Do ensure that all the cut and paste material sent is in its unfinished state. Please train your child to do the needful.

The duration of the Activity will be 1 (one) hour and it will be conducted during the school hours.

                             Sunrise English Private School invites you to join the Ignited Mind Lab Mental Maths Competition in India and U.A.E  for 2022-2023.                                                                                  

                                          The students from Grade 1  to  7 can experience the Mental Math Competition free of charge for the academic year (2022-2023).All students must participate in the competition.

The first round of the competition will be held offline(OMR sheets) by the school 

Curriculum / Syllabus and Study materials

The syllabus covers the fundamental concepts of Mathematics. Every Grade has a separate syllabus, appropriate for its level (Grade 1 to Grade 7).

Students get

• An opportunity to show their mathematical skills FREE of cost (First round)

• Recognition in the form of Certificates, Medals and Cash prizes

• Online resources to prepare for the Competition, Student Performance Report card, Marks statement

• Opportunity to represent the school in Grand Finale - National level round where students from many prestigious schools will participate and compete with each other for awards
