School Timings- 1-15 October 2020

Respected Parents,

                               Greetings!The First Semester/Half yearly examination will commence from 1st October 2020. In  this regard, please note the following points.

1. The timings for login for all the days are mentioned very specifically in  the attachment .

2. Kindly note that 15 copies of the mainsheet and for the supplement sheet as mentioned below-  

Grade VI to VIII- 50 Copies 

Grade IX to XII- 100 Copies

 

3. Print out must be taken in the landscape (orientation) before the commencement for the examination.

4. Printout of the supplement must be Back to back so the students can write on both the sides .

5. Supplements to be properly numbered and this should be counter checked before the submission of the  answer papers to the google classroom 

6 .Main sheet details must be filled for each and every exam.

7.Kindly note as regards the camera we would like to make it more clear that the camera should focus on the child when he/she is writing the examination, no extra cameras are required but at no point during the examination can the cameras be switched off.

8.For internal exams Login by 10.30  am on 1, 14 and 15 October, 2020.

9.At the end of each paper 15-20  minutes will be given for uploading  answer papers.

10. All the exams for Grade 6-8 from 4-13  October ,2020will be of 2 hours.

11. All the exams for Grade 9-12 from 4- 13 October ,2020will be of 3 hours

12.Please note that login timings for Grade 6 to 12 from 04th October, 2020 will be 07:55am

iForDesign Competition - Design a Chair!

Parents and Students,

Calling all creatives, The Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation has announced a new product design competition challenging students, entrepreneurs and the wider community to redefine one of the world's most popular furniture pieces: A CHAIR. iForDesign encourages participants to use everyday materials to create a miniature seat for the UAE competition, supported by Dubai Design District. The open design challenge has three categories: Entries should respond to one of the three categories by, for example, exploring recycled materials, expressing Arabic heritage or exploring how design can solve future challenges in knowledge and innovation-based sectors. To enter iForDesign you need to submit a PDF presentation in the following format: Landscape format with 10 slides or less. Entries should include a short description on the product, concept and inspiration, as well as why the design meets one of the three categories. Information about the materials, dimensions and technologies used in the product. Four scale model or prototype photos, sketches and evidence of iterative design. Winners will be selected by a five-person judging panel made up of industry leading figures.   DEADLINE: 20 OCTOBER
