Greetings! We are pleased to invite your school to participate in the 8th InterNational Astronomy & Science Olympiad (NASO), our flagship program which is organised in 13 Countries. Since first launched in 2012, NASO has grown into the world's largest and most prestigious Astronomy & Science program.I am writing to invite your students to participate in NASO-2020 Contest.
NASO is an International fame Astronomy Contest in which several Asian & Gulf Countries take part which include India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines,Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Brunei, Hong Kong, China, Mongolia, Bulgaria,Belgium, Oman, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Yemen and Dubai. We would also like to invite your school to participate in the NASO 2020 Contest. You can send in any number of students from each class/level to take part.Each class/level will have a different paper.The Contest will be held in December in your school for your own students. We Will give you two different dates and you can opt any one as per your convenient Schedule.
Important Information: 28th October 2020: Closing date for contest registration. 1st july 2020-School can download student contest packs (question Banks / E-books) 30th Nov-2020 Receipt of Question Paper sets & OMR sheets to schools or Online Mode of System. 2nd & 5th Dec 2020: NASO Level-1 in India 9th January 2021 :Announcement of results to your school on www.naso.in. February end 2021: Receipt of Level-1 Certificates & Medals to schools. February 2nd week: NASO Level-2 Examination in India. March 1st 2021: Announcement of results to your school on www.naso.in. Free NASO E-Books & Sample papers. All participating students can download a free NASO E-Books for the class/level that they are taking part in. The Contest Book contains the 2020 Contest questions and strategies to help them prepare for NASO 2020 Contest. The E-Books Links will be given to the school along with the receipt mail of registration forms. Students can also download more past years contest papers from www.naso.in. and if they wish to have a hard copy of the work book we do provide but that would cost separate 150 rs each book. Registration Fee: The entry fee is INR 150 in India & 10 U.S.D-per student in Abroad for school sign-up. Schools should send in the form of Single DD. Every participating school must have a total of at least 30 students, who can be from different classes/levels(class 2-appearing/passed to class 10-appearing/passed). The school will appoint a teacher-in-charge who will be responsible to liaise with NASO,including submitting the registration forms, conducting of the contest and general administration. The closing date for the contest registration is 28thOctober 2020.

Awards 1st Winners will be sponsored to NASA "Kennedy Space Station" Tour for 7 Days Or Cash Prize 1,25,000. 2nd Winners Will be sponsored to Singapore Scientific Education Trip for 7 days or Cash Prize 50,000. 3rd Winners Will be sponsored to PAN India's Scientific Education Trip for 7 days or Cash Prize 15,000. 4th Prize Telescopes. 5th Planetarium Show tickets to students. |
