*SXAA International Children's Online Painting Competition 2020*
St. Xavier's Alumni Association, Patna is very excited to announce its first-ever International Children's Online Painting Competition 2020. This is an international competition and children studying in classes/grades I to XII from around the world are welcome to submit their artwork.
*About the Competition*
With a view to encourage and motivate the students towards creative painting and to combat the atmosphere of fear and panic caused by COVID-19, with hope and positivity through creativity, St. Xavier's Alumni Association, Patna has taken the initiative to organize an International Children's Online Painting Competition for recognition of meritorious students across the globe. This free grand International online painting competition aims to support the development of school students by giving them a forum where they can showcase their talent and express their creative ideas during the COVID-19 pandemic period. We urge students to show their creativity and artistic talent to draw on a very relevant topic i.e. "I MISS MY SCHOOL"
*About the Organisation*
St. Xavier's Alumni Association, Patna (SXAA) is one of the oldest school alumni associations in the country. Now in
existence for over 70 years, St. Xavier's Alumni Association, Patna continues to strive to achieve its objectives and to live up to the high ideals of its alma mater and its motto 'For God and Country'.
*Eligibility*
Any child from any part of the world between the ages of 5-18 studying in class/grade I to XII can submit their entries online. Entries are accepted from all around the globe. Registration is free of cost.
*Theme*
The participant theme is *'I MISS MY SCHOOL'*
*Schedule of the event*
Registration: Latest by *5 October 2020*
Entries upload: Latest by *5 October 2020*
Display on facebook page: till *17 October 2020*
Announcement of Result: *20 October 2020*
*Categories of competition*
The competition will be held in FIVE categories:
*Category 'A'* : Classes/Grades I & II
*Category 'B'*: Classes/Grades III, IV & V
*Category 'C'* : Classes/Grades VI & VII
*Category 'D'* : Classes/Grades VIII, IX & X
*Category 'E'* : Classes/Grades XI & XII
*Prizes*
In each category 1st, 2nd, 3rd and three promising awards will be given. A special viewer's choice Award will also be given to the entry with the most 'likes' on the Facebook Page. All awards will be given in cash. *The 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize winners in each category will get Rs. 3,000/-, Rs. 2,000/- & Rs. 1000/-respectively. Viewer's Choice Award Winner will also get Rs. 3,000/-.*
