I am delighted to inform you that UAE's largest math puzzle championship, KENKEN International Championship 2018 (KIC 2018) has opened its doors once again to the students of Sunrise English Private School.
KIC is an annual International competition (International round to be held in New York), being conducted in the UAE. It was launched for the first time in 2016 and has been very successful in peaking the interest of students throughout the UAE. In the last two years over 20,000 students from more than 300+ schools all over the UAE have participated in the Championship.
Solving Kenken puzzles help students improve their math skills, logical reasoning and strategic thinking. The idea of the championship is to expose students to the benefits of developing competitive puzzling into a productive hobby. Students can expect to win certificates and medals at every level of the championship, and 6 winners from all over UAE will be awarded an all expense paid trip to represent UAE in the International Level at New York.
Sunrise English Private School will be hosting the School Level Round on 10th June 2018. We request all interested parents to sign up their children by submitting the registration form (Download here: http://bit.ly/2jb7KyO), along with the one-time registration fee of AED 100 to their respective class teachers. After registrations students will be receiving a free KENKEN Practice book.
