YOU FEST 2018

Respected Parents,

                             Greetings! 

After a thrilled two successful years of You Fest we are proud to announce yet another exciting year of talented fun. It is with an immense pleasure that I would like to bring your attention to the Y.O.U.FEST 2018!

 

This year we are coming with a new format of competition for the events. The competition will be held between the Emirates in a Zonal-wise format which is Northern Zone (Ras-al-Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm-al-Quwain), Central Zone (Dubai and Sharjah), and Southern Zone (Abu Dhabi). We are making a further change in the category of students which will include Sub-Junior (Grade 3,4&5), Junior (Grade 6,7&8), and Senior (Grade 9,10,11&12) category for the year 2018.

 

In 2016, Asianet News, Hit 96.7 FM and Gulf Madhyamam came together to bring to the UAE its very first Youth Cultural Festival. The objective of the event was simple – to provide Indian expat students in the UAE with a platform for their talents in the colorful art forms of India, to be put to test and exposed to decision makers in the Indian entertainment industry for a reward that will help in taking the students talents in a more professional way. As we continued we could make a remarkable second year in 2017 which had a great response from each and every one of you.

 

The event travels to each Emirate in the UAE, giving all schools and students the equal chance to compete in the competition – for free! Winners of each item are awarded at the end of the event with a certificate or trophy (depending on the position acquired) that declares them the winners of the Y.O.U. Fest 2018 competition in that particular Zone.

Once the first round of competition is covered we then invite all Zonal winners in every item to compete against each other for the Grand Finale.

Schools have a chance to bag the Over-Rolling Trophy and students with the highest scores can win an individual prize and certificate.

                      The program list for each category is attached along with this mail.Students interested in participating in any of the listed events,are requested to give their names to the respective class teacher latest by 21.10.2018.
