Parents, Greetings! Dramatic pretend play offers active, creative learning experiences, helping children to communicate and express themselves and to develop social skills, self-confidence and an understanding of teamwork. Here is a chance for Grade 3 students of Sunrise English Private School to design the characters of their imagination to celebrate their love of creativity and an opportunity to take charge, as they control their own fantasy worlds. We will promote literacy in a fun, age appropriate way by using costumes and simple props. We are inviting all students to design their own character, dress up and speak about the character on Thursday, May 26th 2022.
Details of the competition are as follows:
Participants: Grade 3 Students Topic: Design your own character, dress up and speak. NB: No story book characters will be a part of this competition. Time Limit: 1-2 minutes
Interested students can give their names along with the acknowledgement to the teacher in charge on or before 20.5.2022.
Characters will be judged on the basis of costume, language fluency, expression, confidence and presentation skills of the students.
