Genesis Global Business Competition is a business pitch competition
wHere students from Grade 6-12 may present to the jury their new and creative business ideas that would include all essential elements for a startup (no registration fee required). Participants from all around the world are eligible to take part in this pitch competition in which they are provided with a platform to explore potential business ideas and turn them into a profitable business; plus, it will give them an experience of a lifetime.
Aside from the students being given a chance to explore different business ideas, there are several other benefits to both the students and the school. These are as listed below:
- A cash prize for the winner
- Letter of recommendation
- Certificates
- Internships
- A chance to build on their business skills
- Networking
- Improve one's knowledge in business
- International exposure of the schools
This competition is open to any and every board of education, and students (not necessarily of a business background) can participate in groups of up to 5 people. Being online allows for increased participation, saves time, and makes it easy for all to work. The dates for the live rounds of the competition have all been scheduled on a Saturday, so the students will not be missing school in order to take part. Registration for the competition will close on March 30th , 2023.
