PN 263--RECYCLE ART ACTIVITY & EXHIBITION – 2023 (Year of Sustainability activity) [Grade 3-12 ]

We are pleased to inform you that, as a part of the year of sustainability activity, the Aurora Arts Club of Sunrise English Private School is organizing a Recycle Art Activity & Exhibition for students from Grade 3 to 12. So, kindly encourage your ward to prepare their Art projects in their respective topics and submit for the Recycle Art Exhibition-2023 in school to their art teachers. Exhibition date will be announced after the vacation. Please refer to the details below regarding the categories and themes.

 

Rules and Regulations

This activity is open to all the Students of our school in their respective categories. All the Artworks should reach us on 4th September, 2023.

    Categories

 

2.1

Group 1 – Grade 3 & 4

 Recycle Craft work – students are expected to transform used paper, cardboards, egg holders, plastic bottles, paper cups, ice cream sticks, etc. into beautiful decorative art works or useful objects. (Example – flower vase, pen holder, wall hanging, etc)

 

2.2

Group 2 – Grade 5 & 6

 Up-cycling your trash – The opportunity to up-cycle trash or turn it into new products are vast. Students can make different art works like photo frames, flower pots, Wall hangings etc, using the materials which we trash in our day today life.

 

2.3

Group 3 – Grade 7 & 8

Model making or Jewel making – Students can make 3D models of iconic buildings, artifacts, etc., or beautiful Jewelries using various recycled materials.

 

2.4

Group 4 – Grade 9 & 10

Shopper bag or Floormate making - Using knitting or weaving techniques students could up-cycle different trash materials into beautiful shopper bags or floor mats.

 

2.5

Group 5 – Grade 11 & 12

·         Recycle decorative mask making – Students are expected to make wearable or decorative wall hanging masks by using paper Mache technique or any other suitable method.

We are also collecting used milk bottles for recycling. Please send it through your ward to their respective class teachers.
