                                      We are thrilled that SUNRISE ENGLISH PRIVATE SCHOOL has been accepted to participate in the National Young Authors' Fair UAE 2024. Once again, the students of SUNRISE ENGLISH PRIVATE SCHOOL will have the incredible opportunity to write and publish their books, becoming young authors read by millions around the world. This year, the event is supported by Which School Advisor and Schools Compared.

NYAF is the world's largest book writing competition for school students, with successful editions in 26+ countries, including the US, UK, India, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Last year, over 350 schools from the UAE participated, with students writing and publishing books, winning awards, and earning top spots in the prestigious Literary Leadership Rankings.

Since this is an inclusive event, we request parents to ensure that your ward aged 8-16 participates in the event. The BriBooks book writing festival welcomes students from all backgrounds and skill levels. Our school aims to nurture the creativity and storytelling abilities of young writers, empowering them to bring their unique ideas to life through the writing process.

PN 676--“Ignited Mind Lab Competition” [GRADE 1-7]

                            Warm greetings from the fraternity of Sunrise English Private School. Sunrise English Private School invites you to join the Ignited Mind Lab Mental Math Competition in India and U.A.E for the year 2024 - 2025.

It is mandatory for all Students from Grade 1 to 7 to participate in the Mental Math Competition which is free of charge. The first round of the competition will be held online in the school. 

Curriculum / Syllabus and Study materials for the competition

The syllabus covers the fundamental concepts of Mathematics. Every Grade has a separate syllabus, appropriate for its level.  This competition provides a platform for students to avail.

• An opportunity to show their mathematical skills FREE of cost (First round)

• Recognition in the form of Certificates, Medals and Cash prizes.

• Online resources to prepare for the Competition, Student Performance Report card, Marks statement.

• Opportunity to represent the school in Grand Finale - National level round where students from many prestigious schools will participate and compete with each other for awards

•It is a mandatory competition for all students from Grades 1 to 7

• The first round of the competition will be conducted ONLINE.

• Duration for the 1^st round: 1 hour

3.5	Please ensure that the name of the Student, class and section should be mentioned in the backside of the drawing. Do Not Write Long Messages on the artwork. This will incur negative marking.
4	Students are encouraged to create their artwork from home and submit it for the competition
5	Judging Criteria - The entries will be assessed on the basis of creativity and imagination, composition, use of colour and choice of subject, Cultural Relevance: Connection to Emirati heritage and overall presentation.
6	We believe that this competition will not only provide a platform for our students to showcase their artistic talents but will also instill a sense of pride and connection to the rich cultural tapestry of the UAE. We encourage parents and teachers to support and guide our young artists throughout the creative process.
