Our students Abhijeet Sinu and Faheem Mohamedof grade 12A secured third position in the app development competition on the topic Sustainable development goals.

Our students Joshua Titus of grade 12A and Payal Subhash Gawand of grade 12B actively participated in the individual programming competition.

Sunrise English Private School also won the overall champions trophy.

                                                Please note the following-

1. Annual Sports meet will be held on November 6,7 and 11,2024 as per the below schedule-

November 6,2024- Girls 

November 7,2024- Boys 

November 11,2024- Finals 

2. The reporting time is 7.20 AM sharp and the dispersal time is 2.30 pm for the participating students. 

Non participating students will have holidays on November 6,7 and 11,2024. 

3. Parents are hereby informed that students will report to school and disperse from the school only . Parents are not permitted to collect the students from Zayed sports city.

4. All the students must wear the Sports uniform , Sports shoes and cap

5. Students are requested to carry sufficient water and eatables 

6. Students are not permitted to carry Mobile phones and electronic devices.

PN 620-- Create a TV or Radio Commercial(Advertisement) promoting one tourist destination in the UAE [Grade 4 and 5]

Respected Parents, 

                                       UAE Social Studies Sheikh Zayed Club of Sunrise English Private School is excited to announce a fun and creative competition for our Grade 4 &5 students on Friday, November 15^th 2024.This is a fantastic opportunity for students to showcase their creativity while learning about the beautiful tourist places of the United Arab Emirates.

Competition Details:
a. Theme: Create a TV or Radio Commercial(Advertisement) promoting one tourist destination in the UAE.
b. Suggested Tourist Spots: Burj Khalifa, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Al Ain Oasis, Jebel Jais , Dubai Mall, or any other place of your choice.
c. Format: The commercial (Advertisement) can be either a video presentation for TV or an audio recording for radio.

 

Submission Guidelines:
a. Duration: The commercial(Advertisement)  should be a maximum of 2 minutes for video and 1 minute for audio.
b. Content: Highlight the unique features of the chosen tourist place, including its history, attractions, and why it is worth visiting.
c. Creativity: Use engaging visuals or sounds to capture the audience's attention!

d. Format for Submission: Videos should be submitted in MP4 format, while audio recordings should be in MP3 format. Please provide your submissions on a USB drive

e. judging Criteria:
Creativity and Originality ,Clarity of Message ,Presentation Quality

Important Notes:

·        Please ensure that all materials used are appropriate and respectful.

·        Rehearse the presentations to ensure smooth delivery.

·        Parents' support is welcome and appreciated!

DIDI Project Design Space season 9 returns this year with electrifying hands on opportunities for high school students(Grade 9-12 or Year 10-13) in UAE to gain real-world experience in the field of design 

while solving authentic challenges for organizations across the region.This free program is created by Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI), a private non-profit university offering a UAE Ministry of 

Education-accredited Bachelor of Design degree.

PN 609--ACER EXAM SCHEDULE [GRADE 3-9]

Respected Students and Parents, 

                                                               The Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) has mandated that all students from Grade 3 to 9 participate in an external assessment. Sunrise English Private School has chosen ACER IBT as the required assessment as per the National Agenda Parameter for Abu Dhabi and UAE. 

 

1. The ACER exam will be conducted online (as per the instructions by ADEK) and scheduled as per the attachment during the month of November 2024 during the school hours. 

 

2. The assessment will be for English, Mathematics & Science and will be conducted during school hours as per the attached schedule.

 

3. All students must participate in the exam.

 

4. Students are requested to bring TAB or LAPTOP only for the exam which should be fully charged. Charger also should be brought along with the device (TAB or LAPTOP devices will support the exam).

WIFI Connectivity will be provided by the school.

 

5. Please note the exam is for 1 hour duration.

6. Students can carry notebooks and textbooks for the 3rd period onwards as per time table on the particular date of exam.

 

7. Students are allowed to carry the device only on the allotted date of their exam as specified in the attachment. Exams will be conducted strictly as per the attached schedule only.
