This is to inform you that we are forming the School Chess Team for both boys and girls from grade 3 to 12 for the following categories: U-11, U-14, U-17, and U-19.
The primary selection rounds will be conducted for students from Grade 3 to Grade 12 during their respective PE periods.
Objective of the Selection:
To select the best 4 to 5 students in each category, as per the CBSE sports guidelines, to represent our school.
Selection Criteria:
- Each student will play a minimum of 2 rounds.
- Students who win both rounds will qualify for the next level.
- A maximum of 7 rounds will be conducted.
The final rounds will be held at the MPH (Multi-Purpose Hall). Selected students will compete to determine the best performers who will represent our school at the CBSE UAE Level Championship.
Note: The final rounds competition dates will be notified soon.
Important Instruction:
Students are requested to submit their acknowledgement to their respective PE teachers when they come down for the PE classes.
