This Kaspersky student competition is dedicated to the challenges of a rapidly changing world and tackling security issues posed by new technologies. We want participants of the Secur'IT Cup in 2020 to come up with their own researches and projects to help solve cybersecurity issues in the following areas: 1. Cybersecurity in extended reality
Protect users of XR technologies (AR, MR and VR) from social engineering attacks and data breach risks. 2. Machine learning in cybersecurity Develop new methods to apply machine learning to improve CS technologies and narrow the damage caused by cyberattacks. 3. Security awareness games Develop a game that would help to increase security awareness for general users and help them act more safely in digital world. 4. Security of smart homes (5G & IoT) Protect users of smart home devices with 5G connectivity from exposing their privacy by fighting leaks of metadata from their living environment and protecting therapeutic gadgets. |

The global competition winner would receive a grant of 10k US dollars! We invite participants from all over the world to participate! If you are from 18 to 28 years old and enjoy cybersecurity – challenge yourself and win the main prize! 1st Place - 10 000 USD 2nd Place - A trip to Kaspersky Security Analyst Summit 2021 or dedicated conference for game developers
3rd Place - A trip to Local Cybersecurity/Gamedev Conference or professional course of choice on one of global MOOC-platforms |
