Kindly find the parental notification (PN 183 dated 23/6/2023) with the subject line 'In School Specialist Services'. As per the directive of the ADEK and Department of Health,school has signed
a MoU with Burjeel Medical City, Mohamed Bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi for offering in-school services for children with special needs (SoD) . This service supports inclusive provision for students of
determination (SOD) who are currently in mainstream classes and need specialist therapy services like speech therapy, occupational therapy and/or psychotherapy. The services rendered in the schools by
Burjeel Medical City are Daman Thiqa empaneled. For all Thiqa cardholders, the services will be covered under insurance, and for all other students, they will be providing the service with cash tariffs (kindly
find the cash tariff attached) . Those students, who have Thiqa insurance, need a valid doctor's report of not older than 6 months to seek approval. For others, they will assist in taking appointments with
doctors in Burjeel Medical City.
Parents, who wish to offer in-school service for their ward, or they have any further questions in this regard, may please contact the school (sod@seps-auh.org) latest by 11th December 2023.
