Respected Parents,                                       We are pleased to inform you that Ignited Mind Lab is organizing the Mental Maths Competition 2024-2025 for students of Grades 1 to 7. This competition is designed to foster a strong interest in Mental Math's while enhancing students' problem-solving speed and accuracy. Why Participate? The competition provides several academic benefits, including: Developing a keen interest in Mental Maths and logical reasoning. Strengthening analytical and problem-solving skills. Offering extensive practice through a variety of mathematical challenges. Improving speed and accuracy in calculations. Enhancing performance in school examinations. Providing a platform to compete with students from various schools. Encouraging a competitive spirit and preparing students for future academic challenges. Email from Ignited Mind Lab ·       Students/parents will receive (or may have already received) an email from Ignited Mind Lab containing login credentials. These credentials should be saved securely. ·       Login details www.ignitedmindlab.com/ae Mock Examination (Friday, February 14, 2025) ·        A mock test will be conducted today for all students. ·        The login credentials will remain the same as provided. ·        Students can access the mock exam until 11:00 PM today (Friday, February 14, 2025). Main Examination Details Mode: Online (as per school guidelines) Date: Sunday, February 16, 2025 Time: Between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM (students may log in at any time within this examination window) Duration: One hour Number of Questions: 50 Maximum Marks: 100 Admit Cards: Sent via email (no hard copies will be issued) Practice: Students can attempt mock tests using their same login credentials. Results: Available online at www.ignitedmindlab.com/ae on the date mentioned in the admit card (We will notify the date of result later). Certificates: All participants will receive a certificate. Participation Fee: Free for all students in Grades 1 to 7. Login Credentials: Sent to the registered email along with the admit card. Device Requirements: ·        The examination must be attempted using a laptop or desktop computer. ·        Mobile phones and tablets are strictly not allowed. Login Issues: ·        If the issue remains unresolved, they may reach out to the designated representative. The contact details of the representative are attached for reference. Grand Finale – National-Level Round Students scoring above the cut-off in the first round will qualify. Detailed information will be shared later. Participation fee for qualifying students: AED 60 + VAT. Duration: 45 minutes. Negative marking: 0.5 marks deducted for each incorrect answer. Awards for Winners First Prize: AED 1500 + Trophy + Certificate Second Prize: AED 1000 + Trophy + Certificate Third Prize: AED 500 + Trophy + Certificate In case of a tie, first-round scores will be considered. If the tie remains unresolved, the total prize amount will be distributed in a 3:2:1 ratio among the winners.
