We are delighted to inform you about the launch of "Asianet News -Proud to be an Indian - Season 9".As a leading Malayalam news channel, Asianet News proudly takes the opportunity to do their part in inculcating patriotism among young expatriate Indians in the UAE through this project. Coming after an interval of two years due to the pandemic, Proud to be an Indian 2023 will be a much more exciting edition which will ensure that more students are given
the opportunity to be a part of this project.
"Proud to be an Indian", as the name indicates, aims at imparting values of our Nation to young minds through a journey which will enable selected students to visit India and witness the upcoming Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi on January 26, 2023. They will also get an opportunity to visit historical monuments and experience the awe-inspiring beauty of India.

Indian students from grades VIII to XII are eligible to participate in the activity as a team of two. The selection will be through an OMR test based on Indian history on January 15th, 2023 at De Montfort University, Dubai. There will be more exciting rounds this season which will ensure students with multiple talents the chance to get into the PTBI 2023 team. The selected students will depart from GCC on January 24, 2023, and return on January 30, 2023.
