With immense enthusiasm, we would like to invite you to participate in the Poetic Heart 2024. "The Poetic Heart-Connecting Humanity" is an event that has received resounding success for the past 12 years. This year the 13th Edition of the much-awaited annual poetry event "The Poetic Heart", is scheduled to be held on, Thursday, 8th February 2024, from 9.00am – 12.30 pm at The Emirates Institute for Banking & Financial Studies, – Dubai Academic City.
It has been their endeavor to encourage young minds to bring out the fundamental goodness and align with the theme of poetic heart year after year.
This year, the theme for the Poetic Heart 2024 is – "Building A Sustainable Future, Together". The theme of "Building a sustainable Future, together" underscores the need for a collective, forward-thinking approach to tackle complex challenges related to sustainability. It emphasizes the importance of shared responsibility, cooperation, and a long-term vision in creating a world where environmental, social, and economic well-being coexist harmoniously.
We are pleased to invite students from Grade 8 to 12, to participate by writing their poems in English/ Arabic Languages revolving around the idea that all of us as individuals must come together to create a sustainable world for the current as well as the future generations.
The deadline for poetry submission is 5th December 2023. The poetry selection will be purely merit based. Those interested are requested to submit their poem to their respective English/Arabic teacher.
