PN 560--Emirati Math Art Competition [ Grades 3 ,4 and 5]

Respected Parents,

Greetings! "Mathematics is an art of human understanding."

We at Sunrise English Private School appreciate the importance of mathematical skills to

build confidence among our students. Sunrise English Private School is excited to announce

that the 'Emirati Math Art Contest' will be held by the 'Mathlete Club' on

October 25, 2024(Friday) for the students of Grade 3 , 4 and 5 during the school hours.

The aim of this competition is to bridge the gap between art and mathematics, highlighting the beauty of mathematical principles through traditional Emirati Art. This project not only celebrates Emirati cultural heritage but also provides an innovative approach to teaching and learning mathematics.

Competition Guidelines

• Participants can create any type of Math Art related to Emirati Culture like symmetry, patterns using fractions and blending it with architecture or natural landscapes or monuments in A3 size chart paper.

Pencils and Color pencils for grade 3

Pencils, Acrylic marker or sketch for grades 4 and 5

Ruler, compass, protractor

The students will be judged based on creativity and originality, clarity and presentation, difficulty level and accuracy of the solution

All materials required for the competition to be brought from home.

Duration- 45 minutes

Interested participants have to fill in the student details in the acknowledgement shared via registration links given below for each grade on or before 20^th October , 2024.
