Welcome note 2020-2021

Respected Parents,

                             Warm Greetings from the team of Sunrise.We believe that this Email finds you and your family well and hope you are managing the challenging times we are currently confronted with. The Management of Sunrise English Private School, in partnership with Ministry and ADEK, are now working diligently to continue with revised and improvised plans for distance learning. Our Grade 10 and 12 students (2020-2021)had already received the E-learning classes in MARCH 2020 and undoubtedly found it worthwhile. 

                        I am here today to convey information about the School's plan to begin E learning classes and a detailed email mentioning E learning systems,Time table, teachers name and subjects will be sent as per following schedule.

                            I am very sure that this decision of the school would obviously arise many questions from parents. While we do recognize there will be some bumps on the road of this distance learning strategy, our staff is working hard to address potential challenges that may rise thereupon.

                     However, quoting the words of Bill Gates, we would like to emphasize the fact that "technology is just a tool. In terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the teacher is most important". Therefore, from this end, we would like to remind you that your ward should maintain an undeniable rapport with the teacher without fail. This can be maintained with ease in the e-learning classroom by ensuring thorough attention and avoiding the least distraction. 

  

                    Another important note that I wish to emphasize is the CYBERSAFETY. Please discuss cyber safety with your ward and monitor them as much as you possibly can.  As the Principal of the school, I seek the whole hearted cooperation of students and parents in this regard. During this crucial period while we undergo unforeseen circumstances and tides, the optimist in me makes me convinced that true joy lies in the will to labour and diligently toil overcoming all obstacles to attain triumph. 

                               As the entire crew of Sunrise School in partnership with the student-parental community navigate through rough seas struck by the pandemic COVID-19, let us move ahead with confidence.

                         The entire team of Sunrise English Private School wish you and your family the very best while you follow the Government's guidelines by maintaining social distancing and hygiene protocol. Remember, life will get back to normal eventually. Reminding you that this is not a time for us to panic. This is a time for us to come together, stay together, work together praying for each other and strengthen each other.
