MOTHER`S DAY ART CONTEST – 2023 (Let's celebrate Mothers Love with Colours) LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION – 14th MAY 2023

Respected Parents and Students, Mother's day is very special for all the children and mothers, as it celebrates the bond of love and affection that is everlasting. On the occasion of Mother's Day on 14th May 2023, the Arts Department of Sunrise English Private School is organizing an Art Contest for students from Grade 1 to 12 to celebrate mother's love, her relentless contribution and sacrifice towards her child and family. So, kindly encourage your ward to prepare their Art works at home and submit for the competition in school to their respective art teachers. Please refer to the details below regarding the categories and materials.

1 | The competition is open to all the Students of our school in their respective categories. All the Art works should reach us on or before 14th May, 2023. | |

2.1 | Group 1 – Grade 1 & 2 | Colouring (Color pencils or Crayons)(Colouring pictures will be given to students in art periods. |
2.2 | Group 2 – Grade 3&4 | Hand Impression Painting (poster colours, or any water based colours Brushes, etc) Make an art work using mother and child hand impressions. |
2.3 | Group 3 – Grade 5 & 6 | Wall hanging or wall sign making (Craft papers, ice cream sticks, any handmade frames Sketch pens, decorative materials , etc) |
2.4 | Group 4 – Grade 7 & 8 | Greeting card making (Craft papers, Sketch pens, decorative materials , etc) |
2.5 | Group 5– Grade 9 & 10 | · Photo Frame (Cardboard, Carton, Ropes, ties, rings, Colored sheets, printed papers, gift wrapping papers, Stickers, coloured pens, markers, White glue, etc) |
2.6 | Group 6– Grade 11 & 12 | Poster design ;Topic – Mother is a Gift (Any Medium including C6ollage Technique) |
3 | A4 or A3 size papers only to be used | |
4 | All artworks must be the original idea and creation of the Students. Paintings that have been shown or accepted in other competitions will not be accepted. | |
5 | Please ensure that the name of the Student, class and section should be mentioned in the backside of the drawing. | |
6 | Judging Criteria - The entries will be assessed on the basis of creativity and imagination, composition, use of colour and choice of subject. Three winners will be chosen in each category and awarded with merit certificates | |
