18th World Robot Olympiad, India- Virtual championship
World Robot Olympiad (WRO) India 2024 is being organized by National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, and Govt. of India in collaboration with India STEM Foundation (ISF). This year's theme is 'Earth Allies', which aims to invite robotic solutions for people, nature & environment through imagination, problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, entrepreneurial skills and scientific temperament.
Level 1 of the Virtual Championship Events under 'Future Innovators' Category (Project based competition) free registration is open for students aged 8-19(2 to 3 students / Team).
Students can create their own innovative intelligent robotics solution relating to the theme of the season. There is no restriction on the use of materials. This includes free choice of controllers, motors, sensors, etc.
The winners of the National Championship will be participating in the 'WRO 2024 International Championship' scheduled for November, 2024 in Turkey.
