PN 55--PsychED conference-GRADE 9 - 12

Students and Parents,

                                  Greetings!  Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Dubai has announced the second edition of the PsychED School Conference organized by the School of Humanities and Social Science. The conference invites students from Grade 9/ Year 8 and above from schools across UAE, who are interested in Psychology, to come together and engage in academic dialogue. They have organized a range of activities to the conference program for school students to participate and win prizes and awards.

Date: 3rd and 4th of May, 2023.

List of events:

• Young Scholar Award: An academic poster presentation competition -May 3^rd, 2023 – 9 am to 1 pm. 

            Students create academic posters on a psychology-related topic and  present them to a panel of judges. The best poster will receive the  Young Scholar Award, which includes a trophy, certificate and a                            University Scholarship.

• Lobotomy:  A psychology quiz - May 4^th ,2023 – 9 am to 1 pm

Students compete on their knowledge of psychology in this fun quiz that will challenge their observation skills, reflexes, and quick thinking.

• Roundtable Conference:  ' Is Technology changing the future of psychology?' - May 4^th ,2023 – 9 am to 1 pm

           Student delegates participate in a moderated discussion on how technology is changing the future of psychology. A Best Delegate will be  selected at the end of the discussion.
