Islamic Calligraphy artistically displays the words of Quran, Sunnah and other tenets of Islamic theology. It has got a spontaneous form of expression and aims at equipping students in writing and creative skills. Students will also identify visual qualities of several calligraphic scripts of Islamic science and recognize artists from the Arab Islamic world.
Sunrise Islamic department of the Secondary section is providing an opportunity for grade 7-9 students to participate in an Islamic Calligraphy on 4th May 2023.
Interested students kindly fill the Google form acknowledgement attached here on or before 2nd May 2023.
Topic of the Competition- ليلة القدر خير من ألف شهر
Guidelines for the competition:
1. The competition will focus on 'Depiction of the topic' in required creativity.
2. Calligraphy should be made on the given topic only.
3. Contestants should Carry Blank A3 Size canvas and stationary(Paint,brush,pen ete..)
4. Calligraphy can be written on horizontal or vertical lines. The artwork can include pictures or designs to complement the calligraphic work (as long as it does not depict human or animal figures).
5. The decision of the judges will be final.
