PN 136---The National Championship for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics 2023-GRADE 1-12

Respected Parents and students

                                                       The Ministry of Education MOE is pleased to inform you that the registration for the National Championship for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics 2023 is now open. The competition is organized in cooperation between MOE and the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications office, and University of Sharjah, and various partners from the academic and private sectors.

 

The championship will provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in programming, robots (Robocup) and artificial intelligence and encourage them to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems.

 

The Championship consists of:

1) Robot Competitions: Robocup(age group: 14-19 years), WRO

2) Programming Competitions: (Tynker(grades 4-6), C++, Python, Web Design and Web Development)

3) AI theme Competitions: AI for Sustainability competitions, (chatGPT with Whisper API)

 

Competition dates: 27th – 28th May 2023

Location: University of Sharjah

 

Participation is in three cycles:

Cycle1: Grade 1-5

Cycle2: Grade 6-8

Cycle3: Grade 9-12

 

General Notes:

·         Programming Competition: One student in each category is nominated from the    school

·         The programming competitions are individual competitions,

·         Robocup and the AI theme are team competitions with at least one student from the UAE.

·         Sustainability Competition: To create innovative solutions for a sustainable future in the field of artificial intelligence.

 

Interested Students please submit your project idea to the respective computer science teacher by 8th May 2023.
