The College of Information Technology (CIT), United Arab Emirates University (UAEU),Al Ain calls for Young Innovators from across the UAE.Students need to put their problem-solving skills to the test and compete against other schools in an upcoming challenge. Not only will you have the chance to win valuable prizes, but also expand your knowledge about IT careers.The IT Marathon provides an opportunity for school students to showcase their skills.Most importantly, the IT Marathon aims at spreading awareness about the strategic importance of IT in the UAE. The IT Marathon contributes to building the next
generation of IT thinkers in the UAE by encouraging and supporting young IT talents.
Teams can participate in any of the following:
❖ IT Showcase: An opportunity to exhibit your innovative projects on the theme of "AI for Sustainable Future" - School students (Grades 6-12).
❖ IT Programming Contest: An opportunity to show your programming skills -
School students (Grades 6-12).
❖ IT4 Special Needs (All Grades): An opportunity to present your project
(software or Hardware) - (All Grades).
The three competitions are team-based where each team consists of a maximum of three students and a supervisor.
There will be 3 Winners of each category.
All participants will receive participation certificates.
Competition dates: Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023
Location: The College of Information Technology (CIT), United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), Al Ain.
Interested Students please submit your names to the respective computer science teacher by 17 th May 2023.
