In line with the UAE's sustainability agenda and in an effort to address climate change through practical solutions, we encourage high school students to participate in the Zayed Sustainability Prize. The Zayed Sustainability Prize was launched in 2008 to honour the sustainability and humanitarian legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The Prize has a Global High Schools category that was launched to encourage youth to take a leadership position and think and act sustainably. Students from age 13-18 years old can submit self-led project proposals on behalf of their schools for a chance to win up to USD 100,000.
