PN 276--Virtual Pilot Training Workshop - K12 students [GRADE 6-12]

Parents and Students,

                                      Introducing a unique opportunity for K12 students to learn how to fly an aircraft using a specially built flight simulator. A virtual STEM workshop with an experienced pilot:

·       to learn the fundamentals of flying a Cessna 172 airplane

·       to learn the basic aerodynamics of an aircraft, the forces acting on the aircraft, flight instruments, basic flight control and navigation.

 

          Participants will be exposed to authentic aircraft piloting experience via flight simulator and then will compete with their global peers in the " DIS Landing Challenge".
