Respected Parents,

                We are excited to announce the Sunrise English private school Science Fair! The Galaxy club (Primary Science) of Sunrise English Private School, Abu Dhabi is organizing a science fair programme for students in Grade 4 and 5. This event is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore the wonders of science and showcase their creativity and scientific knowledge. Below, you'll find all the important details about the science fair.

Event Details:

• Date: June 21st, 2024

• Venue: Sunrise English private School MPH Hall.

Objectives:

• Foster a love for science and innovation.

• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Provide a platform for students to display their scientific projects and experiments.

Categories:

1. Biology

2. Chemistry

3. Physics

4. Environmental Science

5. Engineering

Important Dates:

• Project Proposal Submission: June 14th,2024

• Final Project Submission: June 21,2024

 

Participation Guidelines:

1. Project Selection: Choose a project that interests you within one of the categories listed above. Ensure it is age-appropriate and safe to conduct.

2. Proposal Submission: Submit a brief proposal outlining your project idea, objectives, and methodology by June 14th,2024. Proposals should be approved by your science teacher.

3. Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines provided by your teacher. Projects involving hazardous materials or dangerous procedures will not be accepted.

4. Project Display: Prepare a display board that clearly explains your project, including the hypothesis, experiments, results, and conclusion. Include visuals like charts, graphs, and photos.

5. Presentation: Be ready to present your project to judges and answer questions about your work.

Judging Criteria:

Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Originality and creativity

• Scientific thought and method

• Thoroughness and effort

• Clarity and organization

• Presentation and communication skills

Awards and Prizes:

Certificates of participation will be given to all participants, and winners will be recognized during the school assembly.
