PN333- Rhythmic Rhyme Rendezvous (Grades 9-12)

Respected students and parents,

       We are glad to announce that the Canterbury Club of the English Department will be organising a competition titled "Rhythmic Rhyme Rendezvous"on Friday, June 21, 2024. This event is open to students of grades 9-12 and aims to celebrate the recitative and expressive talents of our students through poetry.

Competition Guidelines:

1. Theme: Participants are encouraged to recite poems on any theme of their choice. 

2. Originality: Poems must be original and not abridged. 

3. Recitation: Participants will recite their poems in front of an audience and a panel of judges.

4. Time Limit: Each recitation should not exceed 3 to 4 minutes.

Rules:

1. Interested students must register their names with the link provided herewith latest by Monday, June 17, 2024.

2. A preliminary round will be conducted if the number of participants exceeds 20.

3. Students must adhere strictly to the time limits and guidelines.

4. Judges' decisions will be final and binding.

We encourage all students to participate in this enriching experience and showcase their poetic prowess. It is an excellent opportunity to develop public speaking skills and gain confidence in self-expression.
