We are delighted to announce a Calligraphy Competition organized by the Department of Islamic Education to be held on Friday, June 21, 2024. Islamic calligraphy serves as a form of artistic expression, spiritual reflection, and a means of connecting with the divine. It has been an integral part of Islamic culture for centuries and continues to be celebrated and practiced in various forms today.
Details of the Competition:
Objective: This event aims to celebrate and enhance the artistic writing skills of our talented students.
Date: Friday, June 21, 2024, during school hours.
Registration: interested students from Grade 9 to 12 can register their names by sending a duly filled attached consent letter to zidheeque.a@seps-auh.org by June 14, 2024.
Materials: Participants are required to bring their own calligraphy pens and ink. Paper will be provided by the school.
Themes: Themes for the competition will be announced on the day of the event.
Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged on neatness, creativity, and overall presentation.
Participants will be allotted Maximum 30 minutes to complete the task. Students should mention name, class, section in a legible manner at the right bottom of the page.
We encourage all students to participate and showcase their calligraphy talents. Let your creativity flow and make this event a grand success!
