PN 380--PennSEM Business Case Competition [Grades 6-12]

Respected  Parents and Students, 

                                                        We are excited to announce that our school will be participating in the prestigious PennSEM Business Case Competition! This competition is a fantastic opportunity for our students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills while engaging with real-world business challenges.

Competition Overview:

The PennSEM Business Case Competition is designed to provide students with a platform to showcase their business acumen and innovative thinking. Teams will be presented with a business case and will work together to develop strategic solutions, which they will then present to a panel of judges composed of industry professionals and academics.

Team Composition:

• Team Size: 2-5 students per team (all team members must be from the same school)

• Categories:

o Junior Group: Grade 6-8

o Senior Group: Grade 9-12

Objectives:

• Enhance Practical Business Skills: Students will apply classroom knowledge to practical business scenarios.

• Develop Teamwork and Leadership: Working in teams will foster collaboration and leadership qualities.

• Boost Presentation Skills: Participants will gain experience in presenting their ideas clearly and confidently to an audience.

Preparation:

Students will be provided with preparatory workshops and mentorship sessions leading up to the competition. These sessions will cover key areas such as case analysis, strategic thinking, and effective presentation techniques.

We believe that this competition will be a rewarding experience for all participants, providing them with valuable skills and insights that will benefit them in their academic and professional futures.

The deadline for participation and query submission is June 30,2024
